not surprised by everyone VS Gai (Yua finally dammit), but kinda feels boring in a way.
And without an upgrade I don't know what the show expect me to feel about Gai being in this situation. If he gets massacred by the 4 or 5 other riders I would be : "yeah of course", and if he doesn't I'll be "huh ? no way".

What I have gathered from the scans(spoilers)

- A.I.M.S. will have new foot soldiers called Battle Raiders, grunts who use the raidraisers to fight
- Aruto will form a new company, Hiden Manufacturing or Hiden Seisakusho after losing Hiden Intelligence to Gai
- Fukuzoe and Yamashita become Gai's new lackeys(why am I not surprised)
- The fourth MetsuBouJinRai.net member Naki will appear

Wait then what was the point of the current arc being this fucking long? If this was going to be the end result then this could of been handled so much fucking better.

The Battle Raiders look nice, but seriously? Invading Horseshoe Crab?

I'm hoping for an inevitable story arc where Zero-One then has to fight AIMs for a while now that the latter have their own minion-types.

Padding bruh. The plot was worth about 5 episodes, and got stretched because they need to pad out the episodes.

I say this though, all those long ass arc would be worth it to see Gai crying like a baby after getting his ass kicked. Forget the Ice Age baby, I wanna see Gai cry like a bitch.

based on the timing of scans, the turnaround on Gai will make the Hiden/ZAIA arc seventeen episodes long.

That's really only 1 longer than the initial Metsobujinrai.net story.

To me that's quite long. Because the balance of power didn't evolve much between episode 16 and 33.

Horobi is free, Jin got revived, Yua will probably be buddy buddy with Fuwa and go back at AIMS like in Arc 1, and Aruto will lose a company just to create another.

You can literally skip from 16 to 33 without missing anything but forms

My only problem with this is that it would be the perfect time to give Valkyrie an upgrade but it's not going to happen.

The Valkyrie name are mentioned in Fighting Jackal Progrise Key transformation sounds so probably this is foreshadowed the Fighting Jackal Progrise Key will be used in Yua's ShotRiser so she will be obtained a new Rider Form....

Yua will use the Jackal key in her Shotriser, but only in the second last episode before she immediately de-transforms, kneels before Gai and then stabs him in the back after Aruto uses his finishing move.

So April is looking like carthisis month for the Workplace Competition

I was thinking maybe she could use ZAIA SlashRiser since she's affiliated with ZAIA.

What immediately jumps out at me is the insert in the bottom right corner of the spread of Zero-One and Jin bashing Thousher where it says "Aruto protects Izu from Thouser!" I mean, for f***'s sake, as though Gai could be any more of an irredeemable sack of crap, apparently now he's going throw a fit and try to murder literally everyone's favorite character in the show.

Anyways, I hope seeing Valkyrie back isn't actually a surprise to anyone, but regardless, it's good to see. Legitimately disappointed she doesn't get some kind of Assault Cheetah form or something using the SlashRiser though. Come on, guys! Yua Yaiba! It was right there!

It was probably comprised of two-parters so that they could use the Raider costumes for a bit longer. They are a lot more complex than the Magia costumes, so they probably wanted to get their money's worth.

Really a shame. Gai deserves to keep his victories.

An entire month without new toy releases this early on is pretty much unheard of, I wonder if they had to make some story changes to accommodate the factory delays caused by the pandemic.

There isn't anything new for Zero-One till June with his final form unless they pull an Ikazuchi situation again. These scans having no new toys to promote shouldn't be surprising.

I'd agree with you if it didn't feel like Gai won those victories by the plot mandating that the heroes don't react properly or continually making poor decisions, or that he never loses even when he logically should have, especially with the pretty blatant cheating. I like him as a character, but I'm so over him with being the de facto lead villain right now. Horobi and Jin are far more interesting villains, even the Ark is more interesting.

Now I'm mostly waiting for the episode where everything blows up in Gai's face. Or when we get the next upgrade, 'cuz RampageVulcan was fucking baller, way better than Jin's 'cuz that was a little more subdued in comparison.

I think it is safe to say that Thouser is pretty much Weather Dopant 2.0. The arrogance, the swagger, the power, the ruthlessness, Thouser has it all just like Weather Dopant.

Weather's somehow more likable than Gai. But you can't deny the Thousaur suit looks nice
