Ordered all the figures immediately. SO happy about that Putty Patrol in particular!

Undecided on the morpher... Though I gotta say, the display stand's preeetty nice.

Not that I don't think this is all awesome -- because it is; an easier way to troop-build Putties is more than appreciated, Psycho Green is a better recolour than I expected, and even Alpha 5 looks glorious.

But can we get... maybe... one of these to not be MMPR? Like, I'm really feeling like they're not just putting a lot of bias onto MMPR, but also throwing out all their cards for their easy-sell-everyone-knows-this-one-it's-a-pop-culture-icon season. It's pretty discouraging both from the perspective of fans who want more non-MMPR stuff, and fans who want to see the line have a lot of longevity.

I assume these Fan Fridays are reveals they would’ve reserved for conventions? If so, that's a good way to do it.

I kind of really love the putty figures.

Isn’t this Zordon from Zeo because that looks like the energy tube from the Power Chamber that Zordon used in Zeo and Dimitria then used in Turbo

EDIT: It is Zeo/Turbo Zordon, comparing this screenshot from the PR wiki with the stock images of the figure, that’s definitely the Power Chamber energy tube.

Power Morpher changes colors, apparently based on what coin is used.

I guess I do have space for another Power Morpher...lol. Not sure if I'll bite on the puttys and Alpha/Zordon set yet though.

If you wanna get technical Psycho Green is Supersonic/In Space. Also, while not announced here, don't forget we are getting the Deluxe Pack for Omega.

I see where you're coming from overall, but unfortunately it's just kinda the nature of the beast when it comes to overall PR merch. MMPR is gonna get the majority whether we like it or not due to both popularity and sale figures.

Anyway, I'm really happy with all these reveals. I just wish that the 2nd Putty in the Putty Army Builder was a Z-Putty. That'd've been an awesome way to build two enemies at once while still saving them money on a mold they already have. But I guess that's kinda why they didn't do that.

I'm gonna assume these were meant for SDCC but cancellation of that lead to this sort of reveal.

Either way, I preordered my two Putty packs and will hold out on Green until next week.

I'm liking that new Power Morpher and Pyscho Green, but Zorden isn't looking too good. It's like his face got stung by a bee.

Obviously want Psycho Green, but I actually like Zordon & Alpha.

There's no way around it, they are going to double down on the MMPR stuff. My hope is that the sooner they burn through this stuff they will move on. In the end trying to sell merch on the one series will only go so far unless they do a genuine reboot.

So I'm reserved that year 1-3 is going to be MMPR focused. Hasbro does need interested in dipping into Zeo though.

Someone else on Instgram pointed out that the Alpha in this 2-Pack is also based on his Zeo design(believe it or not, there is actually a difference).

Speaking of Alpha, I wish he had some alternate hands. Like, granted, basic, open hands are good enough to do most of Alpha's' iconic poses, but, options are nice to have, ya know?

Usually I'd find myself agreeing in a heartbeat, but... but is Alpha even CAPABLE of doing anything with his hands other than that?

He's capable of playing soccer really poorly if episode 55 is any indication. :lolol
