at last we have a name for the 28th season!

Extremely un-creative name but I like the logo a lot.

When an army of powerful alien beings is unleashed on Earth threatening life as we know it, a brand-new team of Power Rangers, fueled by the pre-historic power of the dinosaurs, are recruited to deal with the threat!

Still pissed Kyuranger got skipped over for this. Kyuranger should’ve been our next season and this could’ve been the 30th anniversary season.

I mean, it fits I guess...but we've already had Dino and Fury used in other seasons, so I every time I hear it I think "wait, wasn't that already a season?"

I like the KR name better "Dino Soul" but hey, that logo is cool atleast.

If it were up to me I'd name it Power Rangers Sabersaurus.

For god's sake get creative with the names sometimes.

Another PR season, another alien invasion.

Would be nice if they took a page from Beast Morphers and varied the threat source a bit. Megaforce? Aliens. Dino-Charge? Aliens. Ninja Steel? Aliens. Give us another demonic or prehistoric threat.

Well, it kinda works in a the vague sense since they're primary weapon is a sword. Granted they aren't of the saber variety, but given the look of their swords with Dinosaur head on them... *shrugs*

I agree but at the same time we kinda have to blame the source material.

Beast morphers- computer virus much like in Go-Onger, albeit different its still a virus.

Samurai- Ancient evil like in shinkenger
Mega/Super- Aliens like in their sentai counterparts I THINK the mutants remained being from earth but yeah.
Dinocharge- Aliens again much like Kyoryuuger
Ninja Steel- ok now here we get repetitive since I think in ninnin they were from earth originally.

Ryusoulger- While they may of originally been from earth in prehistoric times they did flee and return so naturalyl from the modern human point of view the druidon are aliens.

Dino Fury- Sounds like they are omiting the originally from earth bit, but maybe it will surface later on. Some big revelation. Mid fight rangers tell the evil aliens to get off their planet only for one of the generals to be like "Your planet? This is our planet, we've lived here long before any of you puny humans"

Sure they could of embraced the knight theme some and maybe had a evil sorcerer create the monsters of the week but after the rebuilding suits and shooting exclusive footage for scrozzle and such it would make sense to want to minimize the amount of new footage, maybe alternate between heavy new villain footage and light.


Plus its due for 2021 plenty of time for things to change between this super simplistic synopsis and the final project.

I still don't like the fact that the Series and Franchise Logo's are separated again like this. It's only been for two seasons but I wish they were like closer together or connected in some way like the previous season's were.

Also I really do not like the name.

Dino Charge from Saban Era II was great actually so let's see what Hasbro does with the 4th Dino Ranger series. It could turn out to be decent. However I do agree this could be saved for Series XXX of Power Rangers for the big 3-0. They could have done the new magic theme next first as Toei is running it while we close out adapting Go Busters here in the states as Beast Morphers in 2019 - 2020 giving Hasbro time to get the footage and what not for the magic themed series.

This is very rare because Toei literally just finished the Dino run.

I rather do suspect Hasbro went for it due to Jurrassic VI releasing (3rd part of Jurassic World)

I mean, yeah it's a logo and it's a dino series. Was hoping they'd adapt Lupat or Kyu but hey if this sells and or makes people happy more power to em.

Agreed but Lupat i feel would require some tweaking cause I'm not sure if the idea of Rangers vs Rangers outside of the occasional clone rangers and stuff like the psychos would really fly. Would be cool to see how they might explain both teams using good striker, as well as the same type of morpher. Then again Nothing saying they couldn't change up the morphers giving each team their own. I need to re watch lupat can't recall if the morpher doubled as the teams guns or not, if so then it could simply be used as a common side arm, if not they could either give one team their own zord summon set up, or just cut around the VS changer footage. Only thing that might be fun trying to explain is why the AI controlled zord keeps switching teams.

Kyuranger would also be fun however we saw how Dino(Super) Charge wound up splitting the 10 rangers up, Kyu has even more and there was that rumor that Hasbro is worried bout yellow's pointy helmet being a potential safety hazard, be it in shooting or in toy form. Since we don't now the future of PR beyond 2021 at the moment going for something that they feel they can deliver a decent story in 20 eps makes the most sense.

Now whether we get Dino Fury S2 or not will be up to whatever deal Hasbro manages to work out since Saban only extended PR's contract with nick for 3 years, 2021 will be year 3. Will Hasbro be able to get them to agree to more episodes, I think we'd all be happy with 30 episodes if nothing else. Will they settle for another 3 years at 20+2 a year, in which case that could be Dino Fury S2, and then be it LuPat Kyu or Kiramager. Will they just move it to Discovery Family/The Hub?

I think considering the current future being up in the air Dino Fury will make a decent pick we just have to hope they handle the adaptation well. Also the name is growing on me I'm sure we were all half expecting Dino Knights, but perhaps they will still use "knight" for the kyoryusoul forms. Dino Fury Red- Dimetro Knight mode. or something like that.

The sidearm for LuPat is the VS Changer which morphs a member, fires shots, and launches machines for enlargement!

I do believe in a "LuPat-for-PR adaptation", but do admit that there would have to be some major changes for this to work!

As far as "Ryusoulger-for-PR-Dino-Fury", I reserve judgement though I do have concerns.

The idea of making them "Evil Space Aliens" is par for the course, as the Zyuranger villains weren't anything of the sort, but they were used as such and were made to work as such. It is possible that the soon-to-be Dino Fury villains have a secret and that the "Evil Space Aliens" angle is an over-simplification of a much larger plot point, but I'm not holding my breath. The better answer would be to make a new and more original villain to accommodate the need for organization and leadership. The "Big Bad" Eras of Ryusoulger will either be a "Final Form" or just a super-monster!

I am concerned with toys as the Ryusoulger constantly had an armor shift whenever they used a different RyuSoul for combat, and I fear that the idea of making "PR-RyuSouls" and armor to accommodate the figures would create a market glut of shelf-warmers!

The Zord Distribution woes of Beast Morphers would also have to be fixed for Dino Fury as many of them, outside of the large figure versions, don't appear too often. If Hasbro expects to do something with this franchise, then distribution has to change.

The Zord QC woes of Beast Morphers would also have to be fixed for Dino Fury as the reports for the larger transforming Zords leave something to be desired. Hasbro really needs to let loose and show some initiative with their product; take some changes and hope things roll favorably!

"Dino Fury, Only on Nickelodeon" is not something that inspires confidence! I don't see Hasbro having any sway on Nick's scheduling, but they need to seriously be shopping around for a new station.

I can live with the logo as it stands. The market is familiar with the PR logo as it has been and now it's time to take a chance with something else and see if the reaction shifts.

My main concern is that Hasbro and Nick will conduct a joint poll, for fans of all ages, to determine what the general reaction is and the best (theoretical) answer I can dream-up is: "Good show, but we have enough Dino Rangers as it is. Can't they come-up with a more original theme for a new team?"

P.S.: With a name like "Dino Fury", will we get to learn what happened to "OG Timeline Fury" from Dino Supercharge!? The main Sledge and Co. were lost in the black hole and drifted into the "Prime Universe" during Super Ninja Steel, but Fury was noticeably absent! In the revised timeline, "Prehistoric Fury" was destroyed before ever having a chance to imprison Ivan.

That's what I thought so they could just make it some common side arm. Could easily do Brand new morphers for the two team.

As for Ryusoul/DinoFury, we could see the plot shift, I mean we had elements for Ninja steel change sure it was mostly names Zircon becoming Galvanax, Spirit crystal becoming Ninja nexus prism.

Toy wise large figure wise we've got 3-4 easily Tyrano, Mosa, Ptera, and MAYBE the movie one. Either sell pink/blue with red or as a 2 pack.

Sure the other mecha don't get used much but then again we are looking at a 20 ep run (until we hear word about what will happen in 2022) so one or two apperances will be more than enough.

Figure wise could easily just pack each ranger figure with one or two of their most commonly used soul arms Snap the shoulder pad on and slap the weapon part over the forearm. With secondary versions for the Kyoryusoul forms. Maybe making use of the line up seen in a few of the ryusoulger magazines, Pink with pachy, GOld would probably be released with Spino armor, Red with Dimetro.

Another version of Red with Ptera cause well red always gets the most. Green blue and Black could be released with Shine Raptor, Shadow Raptor, and CosmoRaptor armors. Allow these armors to be either snap fit or some sort of flexible rubber that can be slipped on off allowing you to customize your forms- sure chances are Pink will get left out and they will just do armors sized for the male figures but then again maybe Hasbro will be nice.

I do feel Ptera might be saved for a potential season 2 along with Max ryusoul red. so Dino Fury's ultimate formation would prolly be Gold+Red+Dimetro.


But yeah we'll just have to wait and see.

Guns for a Morpher isn't an issue. Dino Charge kept them with no hassle.

I always found it comically dumb how the core 5 Ryusoulgers would make a swordpile in a serious or dramatic scene and then Canalo would just put his gun on the top, even though he has a sword. Maybe the new Gold Ranger is better off having a sword morpher for the sake of team symmetry.

Anyway, I really like the title and logo. Looking forward to seeing how this show can improve on Beast Morphers and how it integrates the knight motif in to the story.

Put me on board with thinking it's a bit of a dumb name. While this is the millionth dinosaur themed series, so ideas must be running dry, I think the name feels too generic. While a lot of people were expecting Dino Knights or something, I think it would've been a nice idea to have excluded the "Dino" thing altogether. There's tons of vernacular associated with dinosaurs that doesn't need "Dino" to get that across. Go with something like Jurassic or some shit.

I always found it kind of odd that it wasn't to begin with, and if they went with Ryusoulger's normal changer that would make it two key-activated wrist morphers in a row after Beast Morphers. I think the biggest point against this is that the wrist device is still in stock footage, but... hm. I don't know.

The reason why they had a wrist changer as the morpher is to reap sales. Ninninger was notorious in that the Ninja Ichibantou was the changer, and because of it the toad blaster and the shuriken sold terribly.

That is why in Ninja Steel they changed it so that Karakuri Hengen is the morpher, they are able to maximize profit by selling a separate morpher and weapon.

I hope Tommy becomes one of the rangers.
