Watching-Current:Beast Morphers,Kirameiger,Zero-One(Full house,rare for me to stop watching a show on quality grounds but has happened and occasionally some popular ones!)

Watching-All time:Battle Fever J(Which I should finish literally tomorrow!),Maskman(Also near the end, both have taken a couple of months though, I suppose I just got a bit slow),plus two Chinese toku I got drawn into on YouTube which are Giant Saver(subbed) and Armor Hero XT(dubbed), I always like to see toku not from Japan or US adapted every now and again!

Future viewing(i.e. soon):I plan to finally finish Goseiger as weirdly I just happened to get behind as soon as Kamen Rider OOO came along, I'd also like to see how much old Sentai I can get through for now as one day suddenly I realised that I'd seen every Eurovision Song Contest which is even a lesser interest for me so I should really get back to watching more like I used to! I might also break it up with other toku from time to time, like I'd like to get to the end of a Metal Hero show or finally watch Ultraman Cosmos as I've never seen an Ultraman show and that looks quite good!

Would watch more if reliable subs were available:X-Garion (why are so few Korean toku subbed?! I want to see Vectorman!)

You, again, can just call them by their names. You don't need to add spaces, and translations, you don't need to refer to them as "Jetix era", you can just call it Gokaiger, why do you insist on the weirdest names possible?

Wiki translated a lot of the names anyway. The English is in ( ).

Well Power Rangers has 4 Eras. Fox was the 1st Saban Era . Jetix was the second and Wild Force is where it starts due to the swap to Disney be it made by MMPR Productions. Era 3 and 4 are Nick. Samurai - Ninja Steel are Saban Era II and Hasbro started Era 4 with Beast Morphers.

Wild Force is borderline I suppose. Translations are fine as long as they're the commonly accepted ones but Jetix era doesn't really mean anything in Sentai and wasn't Jetix not even as much of a thing in the US as in the UK?!

Jetix is merely an ABC Family / Disney thing; a block of shows not unlike "Super Hero Time", which is the name of the block that Sentai and Kamen Rider air during!

The Power Rangers fandom has come to accept terminology of the individual eras in names which relate to the owners of that era:

- Saban Era: Mighty Morphin', Alien Rangers, Zeo, Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy, Lightspeed Rescue, and Time Force.

Wild Force is a transitional point, with most of it being done during the Saban Era, but there is evidence that Disney had some input. This is supported by the fact that Wild Force started on Fox Kids, but ended on ABC Family and ABC Kids.

- Disney Era: Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, S.P.D., Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury, RPM, and the controversial rendition of Mighty Morphin' 2010.

- Neo Saban Era: Samurai, Super Samurai, Megaforce, Super Megaforce, Dino Charge, Dino Supercharge, Ninja Steel, Super Ninja Steel.

- Hasbro Era: Beast Morphers (Seasons 1 & 2), Dino Fury, TBD.

When you say something like "pirate series", everyone who knows tokusatsu will be able to determine that means Gokaiger, but saying "pirate series" feels like it takes something away from Gokaiger! When someone does say "Gokaiger", the fandom knows to connect that with the 35th Anniversary and Ranger Keys and pirates and the reappearance of veteran Sentai actors. Translations are largely accepted only on an internal level relating to each fan. It makes more sense to translate an episode name so as to understand the context of that episode. Over-translation of a series name, in my mind at least, runs the risk of cultural misappropriation. In a sense, every tokusatsu fan on Earth tends to learn a little Japanese just by their love and interest, even if they don't speak fluent Japanese!

I don’t really care what names you use, but... I am really confused when you say the translations come from the wiki. Which wiki are you looking at?

Update: I've now finished Battle Fever J!

Never fully knew where to put that series! The finale is one for the Sentai record books: the team is force-fed to the monster-maker machine, big bad Satan Egos seems to enlarge in a show where NO ONE enlarges, and he bleeds green!

Yeah, it did have it's redeeming qualities but I'm more looking forward to watching Goranger and I did like the Japanese Spiderman more(the only other 70s toku I've finished!) I'm guessing it probably is at least better than JAKQ though being as a lot of people seem to not like that one!

The RangerWiki does not do that, and even if it did, it would be wrong.

It is split into 4 eras, Saban Ent., Disney, Saban Brands (or Neo Saban), and Hasbro. Jetix era means nothing, Saban era II is not it's name.

We all know what you mean, but you choose the weirdest names possible, calling things "Source show", or "pirate series". And several people have corrected you and you insist on calling them by these strange name that some apparent wiki calls them.

Ordered the next 3 after Hurri up to Magi over the last 2 days.

Resuming with the 93 ninja series forward to give me time to ship in after Magi on DVD. Hopefully the next 3 are out.

I also finished Maskman on Sunday. It was pretty good, I think I still prefer Liveman but the final episode had pretty cool high stakes! If I had to pick a favourite episode, possibly the one with X1 Mask, that was pretty amazing!

In Wentwood's defense, the Saban Brands Era has many names according to its page on RangerWiki.

The worst case is "Hurricane Ranger" despite the fact that Hurricanger is already a portmanteau of two English words.

Dairanger doesn't even have anything to do with ninjas. At least get the year right!

Plus as for finished toku I am now finishing up 2 from China which I discovered on YouTube and got drawn into,Giant Saver(subbed) and Armor Hero XT(South East Asian English dubbed). Giant Saver I'm impressed by, Armor Hero XT is OK and I do always like to see a toku dub for once but I did kind of prefer the original Armor Hero and it's a bit interminable, there's 60 episodes! Also I would watch more X-Garion if there were reliable subs, that looked more to my taste than Legend Hero, sorry. :(
