Power Rangers Fans should be really excited about this news.

As someone who knows almost nothing about Transformers toy design, anyone wanna fill me in?

He was the Lead Designer for Transformers for the past 6 years. Combiner Wars, Titans Return, Power of the Primes. Basicly if you want Big Articulated Zords for Power Rangers, He's your guy to do it.

He's had his hand in most of the recent transformers lines, which could bode very well if Hasbro's planning to branch into their own in-house Megazord products. Transformations, combinations and solid builds should all be top-notch.

You can kiss any Power Rangers with an animal theme goodbye :lol

The moment he left, we found out the next TF Generations line was Beast Wars lol

It's so funny. The reality of course is that these toy lines are planned in advance so he was still there when they pitched it, but yeah - these news hitting so close to each other is hilarious.

I'd say he’s responsible for Kingdom having G1-characters alongside BW at the very least, had he left earlier it would’ve been all BW :lol

As I've seen someone said, his parting gift to us all was Beast Wars.

Y'all are going to be so sad when all Kingdom is are things like a truck painted in fake fur and labelled Optimus Primal.

This John Warden news... I've really enjoyed what he's done with the Transformers line. But, now that he's done nearly every G1 character he could (and maybe a couple he should've done less), seems like a solid time to move on.

I'm curious how dialed in he is to the Power Rangers scene. He always came across as a guy who sincerely was a fan of Transformers as a property, but maybe that was just media savvy? (He was a great spokesperson for the brand, regardless of what you thought of his design tendencies.) I assume he'll do a thorough, professional job on Power Rangers, but I wonder how connected he is to the property.

If nothing all of the vehicle Zords should be done well then. If he does a good job with the SWAT Megazord, that'll be a definite pick-up for me. Thanks for informing me guys!

He did plenty of Beast Transformers. Dinobot Combiners, Beast Headmasters, Predacons, Terrorcons, Seacons. What do you mean No Beasts?

Wars. It's a meme in the Transfandom that Warden dislikes Beast Wars and that this is the reason for a lack of BW-inspired characters.

It’s of course a meme and thus not serious, he doesn’t have the power to deny certain products all by himself, the lack of BW is simply due to G1 selling better.

G1, Beast Wars, Zords I love them all. People should be excited about this just from getting Zords that aren't Bricks

No offense, but could be better if had a partnership between Hasbro and Bandai.

Given current Bandai Sentai offerings, no.

I wish Hasbro would hire me as a toy designer. I would definitely be able to a much better job than what's currently available.
