The movie-based titles are getting ridiculous now.

I didn't know there's marshmallows in the planet Crystalia! So, Raita Ooishi/Yellow Owl's weaknesses are the tomatoes, Hayate/GingaGreen's weaknesses are honey and tomatoes (he fixed the latter one) and now this: Takamichi's weaknesses are the marshmallows. Are there any other Super Sentai Heroes and Heroines that have weaknesses in foods/drinks? This I've got to see.

It's less a 'trauma' and more just Takamichi being a baby, which I found pretty funny. I thought for sure they were going to pull a last-minute joke at the end, with Takamichi offering a heartfelt apology, but then Akiho doesn't know what he's talking about 1. It's been thirty years, and 2. he doesn't look like he's aged as much as he would have.
Anyhow, it was a cute episode! Sena's full-speed ahead attitude is on full display and makes a nice constrast to how much of a grump Takamichi was being. Also, was that a good ol' Psychic Lover insert I heard... |

At the end of the episode, Juru was hinting that Senna's involvement with Takamichi's quarrel was something deeper. Did I miss something?

So... this episode was a about a marshmallow monster turning middle-aged woman into marshmallows for his general to eat while one of our heroes conveniently uncovers his marshmallow-related trauma of the past?
... Yeah okay Sentai, WTF :lol It was fun though. It would’ve been cool if the obvious solution to defeating the stretchy monster wasn’t to freeze it since I saw that coming a mile away, but oh well. By the way, was I the only one to notice the PPAP-reference or did they do that before? I know who the actor is; I just don’t remember them referencing it before :D https://i.imgur.com/tf7UJks.gif Quote:

It's not anything particularly deep, and that might be why I have basically nothing to say about this episode, despite enjoying it a whole lot. The most interesting thing I've got is that the giant monster being a sequel to some random other giant monster is less random than it seems, since the original version was from episode 11, also written by Tete Inoue. But even that's just trivia. Actually critiquing the story is a bit beyond me this time. When it comes down to it, it's the kind of episode that's well... to borrow a phrase, it's certainly a mood. https://i.imgur.com/MilmJtx.png |

For once, there was an actual Sentai Easter egg hater than someone stretching it. And y’all missed it.
The high school Takamichi went to has the same name and uniforms as the one from Turboranger. Not to mention the black board has the surnames for Black Turbo and Blue Turbo’s actor written on it. |
Did not realize Muryou's actor was the PPAP guy. The reference was adorable :lol
Anyway, I was kind of half expecting the girl to basically respond to Takamichi with a "Who are you?", since I've been out of high school for a decade and I can't even remember half of what went down, but I guess that's me. |
When would we see a year set for this series? Thanks to Shout and another source I'm watching the shows in order and locked in Ryusoul. I will be watching this new series when I get to it. So I wanted to ask. Most of them go 48 - 51.

Been kind of lax with Kiramager, but I'm starting to get back into it.
So, Carantula apparently stole marshmallows and decided to do something complicated to get more marshmallows and create darkness simultaneously? In the annals of Sentai Villain multitasking, this has to come in around the Top Five "WTF?" plans by a General! Kind of wondering if someone really terrified one of the writers when they were a kid using marshmallows? My thought process this episode was that Sena was actually related to the violinist and that's why she was so instant. Seriously, I thought it was that involved! Trying to also figure out why they paired a missile-launching Regani with a guy who has a giant pink marshmallow for head! I know the Regani is a reference to an earlier episode, but these two have almost nothing to do with each other. Didn't care for Mashin Magellan in vehicle mode, but it works wonders as a hand cannon. Giving me Cube Kirin vibes. Wasn't a bad episode. The sheer absurdity of the MOTW Jamen and both of the end battles were the highlights. I can also imagine what the discussions might have been behind the scenes: - Person 1: "What food hasn't been used as a monster in Sentai yet?" - Person 2: "How about a marshmallow? Haven't made a monster out of that yet." - Person 3: "How do we justify a marshmallow monster?" - Person 2: "Say one of the bad guys likes marshmallows." - Everyone Else: "That'll work." P.S.: What does "PPAP" mean? P.P.S.: Was there never a discussion thread for Kiramager 15? Tried looking, but I couldn't find it. |

- There is a thread, but it has the wrong number. No surprise it was hard to find! |

They've done more PAPP references throughout the series too.
