Your Tokusatsu Dream Team
 

The premise is simple. You create a team of 5 or 6 heroes from shows you’ve watched who you’d like to see work together. CSHT did it, Super Sentai Saikou Battle did it, now I’m asking you to do it.

But, I’m adding in a twist. You have to construct a team of major villains from the same shows you use to oppose them.

The only ones that I’m not allowing are giant heroes, since they could end the plot by themselves in 5 minutes.

Nice line up, but I specified you had to do a lineup of villains from the same shows you choose.

However, there are some heroes/villains out there who have the power to topple giants, so please forgive me but I'll ignore this rule just this once to add one giant to the list. To counteract this, I've made sure to add extremely powerful villains onto the list.

Trying to start with the heroes wasn't resulting in both groups being interesting, so I'm going to flip the script and do a dream team of the villains first, if that's cool:

Basically I just took the most maniacal villains I could think of from recent Rider history and tossed in their pet Overlord whose simpleminded desire to fight everything in front of him seems almost benign by comparison. A fun villain team-up is all about the opposite of chemistry. I want massive egos with huge and conflicting plans for the world who are falling apart from the second they decide working together is going to help them somehow.

And who do I get to confront such an imposing group? Going by the "from the same show" rule, I have none other than:

- Ryouji Hase/Kamen Rider Kurokage (Gaim again)
- Jun Honganji/Kamen Rider Jun (Drive again)
- Haima Kagami, who was totally a Ride-Player that one time! (Ex-Aid again)
- Nariaki Utsumi/ Kamen Rider Mad Rogue (Build again)
- Yua Yaiba/Kamen Rider Valkyrie (Zero-One again)

So here I just thought of how I could make THE worst possible squad to handle all these huge threats to humanity, and then threw Valkyrie in there too, because leading this underpowered team of losers sounds like exactly the kind of undignified position she usually ends up in.

Could be a really good underdog story in here somewhere!

Evolt and Ark(or even Azu) would be a dream come true for me.

Thinking about it, I actually had enough ideas for my dream team that I could construct another. So I did.

Well, since I did my list backwards, Redue from Gaim is going on my villains team just to make things extra hopeless. Like, seriously, your best bet at that point is to hope they all destroy each other first.

If you specifically want a new hero though, Jounouchi can join in to complete the iconic Gridon/Kurokage duo, who I'm sure will be a huge help facing this threat. (...Yua's really got her work cut out for her.)

You are right in that I didn’t specify which side. To be honest, I’ll allow additions to either side. I have an idea for my villains line up gaining an additional member, but I’m keeping it on the down-low to avoid spoiling my current fanfiction (which isn’t doing much of a misdirect, as the mystery villain calls himself a god, has a group of followers named Dark Bo (an alternative name for the Bohdi tree from Hindu mythology) and when one of the monster he interacted with explodes, the sound of a Lockseed opening can be heard)

My villain team currently has more girls than my hero team. So I'm going to add Diana Lady.
