Darn, I was hoping Zenkai Red was gonna be played by a former Kamen Rider actor, like how the Future Riders in Zi-O were played by past Sentai actors.

I hope they play the angle like: anyone can be a Zenkaiger! It's about your love of Sentai! (and also have this gun!)

Scrolling up I thought they pull a zyuoger zyumen anniversary tactic where human cast show up , but they're singer and voice actor divide like gibuster return, so most likely one off thing. There red yellow and pink. Red seem like his own entities.

Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger Spinoff: Introducing ZenkaiRed!

Introductory Episode- Kai/ZenkaiRed appears and claims that the leader "needs to be Red", trying to oust Kaito from the position of main character.

Final Episode- ZenkaiRed claims that sentai should be composed of human rangers, and begins turning the Kikainoids human

Kai/ZenkaiRed is played by Isse Daiki; human Gaon is played by Sasamori Hiroaki; human Magine hasn’t been named yet.

For the record, this is the first hint of the Kikainoids becoming human and it’s basically like the Go-Busters Returns V-Cinema or “Kiramai Driller”: a light hearted jab at the people who denounced the show for not being more traditional.

Fun fact Daiki Ise who will play Zenkai Red is in real life the singer of the ToQger theme song.

Oh, I see! thank you for clarifying this! I'm not especially worried about the Kikainoids being suits, but I have to admit, it would be easier to write about them if they were humans. :p

So I wonder what Zenkai Red Sentai Gear will look like, a Zenkaizer Gear, but with red lines or a Zenkaizer Gear in the Style of one of those Super Red Sentai Gear?

A "super red" style gear would actually make a lot of sense. Heck, maybe he'll use some of the other super red gears.

I assume the name Kai is a nod to Akarenger's surname, Kaijo.

I just saw a clip of him transforming and he does use the Super Red Sentai Gear version of Zenkaizer.

ZenkaiRed looks kind of like Captain Marvelous, though I'm aware he's a different actor. And it looks like what I'm reading here means we'll see humanized versions of the Kikainoids, which might be interesting. Also I love the fact ZenkaiRed looks just like Zenkaiser but red.
