DX Nadeshiko Driver
 

As a continued part of Fourze's 10th anniversary celebration, Premium Bandai is finally releasing an official DX Nadeshiko Driver. Looks like pre-orders go up September 7th, though no mention of what time specifically. Link to the tweet

I'm actually surprised they didn't do this sooner, since this seems right up P-Bandai's alley. :D I guess they just were waiting for the right opportunity.

I wonder if they could do some sort of a 10th anniversary rerelease of the DX Fourze Driver, since it seems like they still have the molds. Maybe even a CSM with the switches for the Base, Elec, Fire, Magnet and Cosmic states + maybe Rocket and Fusion states?

Just AWESOME!! Between this and Yujuo Burst they've been on a roll lately releasing stuff that never happened before. Pretty fitting for the 50th anniversary!

Me yesterday, doing a watch party for Megamax: If this was made today, then the Nadeshiko Driver would be a P-Bandai item.

Now I'm really glad I got the Fourze set with all the switches.

I'm legitimately psyched to see this finally happening after all these years. Nadeshiko is awesome (as you'd expect from a character in the most awesome Rider movie ever!) and it was always sort of a bummer they never did this at the time.

Only took them 10 years to released the Nadeshiko Driver...... WHAT IN FRUIT JESUS NAME TOOK THEM SO LONG!!!!

Fourze wasn't very popular with older fans, which makes it low priority for merch.

So it's not just the Nadeshiko Driver, they're throwing in the SOLU, Gate and Nadeshiko switches as well.

Which is so strange. Fourze when it was airing was the first Rider series I had started watching and what got me interested in the KR franchise to begin with. Personally I still really like it, even if it's slid down in my favorite series rankings over the years.

It got me going on watching prior Rider series as well. Anything recognizing Fourze is welcome for sure.

Why is the Nadeshiko Switch the only one not painted in silver? Little odd

They mention that SOLU and Gate are not to be used in a Driver due to the possibility of damaging the paint. So the Nadeshiko is not painted for people to freely use it in the Fourze Driver for the fusion form.

Do any of these switches have sounds programmed in the Fourze driver that just weren't used until now; like Build's Kyoryu/F1 and such?

I know its not accurate, but it would have been cool if the display in the center had an outline of Nadeshiko.

There's a new blogpost here that answers further questions, but I'll help with what has been asked.

The main Driver comes with a regular Rocket and Radar switches, Gate and SOLUS don't even have any pins to discourage people from trying to use them in a driver. The Nadeshiko switch reads as Launcher in the Fourze Driver.

BTW the Nadeshiko Driver has a full reader and sounds so you can try out any existing circle and square switches in it.

Wait has it always been that way in the show? I guess I never looked close enough!

That helps a little more with why the DX belt was never made in the past. Apart from the limited appearance and the fact that it's a female riders belt. It's more than just a "repaint".
