Saying a phrase like "air date" makes me wonder, but you do know that S2 will be on Netflix exclusively?

Yes. And it would still have an air date even on Netflix.

Yup it will technically have an air date bc Netflix usually locks off episodes of shows they own, at least for the new ones, and unlocks them one by one on the same day every week. This isn't the case with every show, but it definitely could be the case with power rangers episodic nature.

Am I the only one who misses the days when stuff like sexuality was only included if it was important and you could connect to a character for their character?

Anyway hoping it wins still wether I agree with this kind of stuff or not.

I do miss those days. As a gay man I love seeing other open lgbtqia+ characters in shows. But lately I feel like they're constantly introducing lgbtqia+ characters and that being their only trait. IMO, having open characters is nice, but it's even better when it isn't their only trait. Like its something that's just revealed by a comment and left at that, and not something that's constantly in your face. Unless it's meant to be parody and comedy relief.

*gestures to Will and Grace* For example, this series has two openly gay men. One, Will, is the kind of character I prefer to see more of. His sexuality, while part of his character and identity isn't his sole purpose and character trait. Whereas Jack is the main comedy relief as your stereotypical flamboyant homosexual. Jack does have other qualities, no doubt about it, but he is one of the primary comedy characters and his sexuality is the catalyst. And at the end of the day, while having other traits, Jack is relatively one toned. And most gay a characters these are one tones, based solely off their sexuality.

The character's sexuality should be a secondary trait. It shouldn't be something that's up front and the focus. Representation is always nice, but don't have characters represent solely for the sake of representation. Actually have them have a purpose. Otherwise they're just token and boring.
