I was confused why Lovelica of all Bugsters, but then I remember he also was the CEO of Gemn Corp (the company, not the fansub group) for a small bit before Cronus happened.

I'm sure this is an April Fools joke but it's 2 April in Japan so we'll see how this goes.

Like the last three years it was 'officially announced' as an April Fools joke on the 1st, but then on the 2nd they went "yeah nah it's real"

I like Genm just fine but I thought the Presidents was really threading old tired ground, so a sequel doesn't exactly excite me... But I guess this isn't too different from how Momotaros will pop up every now and them again to remind everyone of his catchphrases.

You just can't keep a good God down...although now Kuroto is a Humagear? Somehow?

Also, Smart Brain...like, the actual Smart Brain from Faiz? After the Revice specials it seems like Orphnoch's are back in style.

Well that Genm suit is as busy looking as it is ugly. Fitting, I suppose.

Ark Thouser is... Ark-One with Thouser's helmet? It looks good, because the Ark-One suit is great, so no complaints there.

If anything, should Tamashii decide to strike the iron while it is hot and release these forms as SHF’s, they can easily make Ark-One after. Or they already have Ark-One in development and just decide to put the Thouser head on it and release it first.

Genm's new form is the epitome of ludicrous and yet I absolutely love it! I also love how the "pixel effect" also invokes effect lines and sound effects, which I'd usually expect from a possible Comic/Manga themed Rider (NinNin Comic comes to mind), but it strangely works.

Also, absolutely agree he looks like Sephiroth, all he's missing is the long Katana and slammin' theme.

rip to the Ark One suit. I'd also say rip to Thouser but I'm still convinced they only had the one suit to begin with when they turned it into ZAIA.

There seems to be a Smart Brain Humagear in the trailer. At the moment, considering how little Smart Brain seems to be factoring into this, I feel like this is going to set up for a third installment in this series of "Kuroto Dan's misadventures".

I, for one, cannot wait for the inevitable Sephiroth Genm figuarts.

Ark Thouser was a mistake. Next upgrade better be perfect for Thouser as "Ten Thouser" since 01 went to 02.

That was a neat special, I like the visual direction too with how minimal yet effective it is. Both forms looks cool, but it's expected that Genm Musou gets the upper hand.

Smart Queen is revealed to be Mari! Which... kinda makes Faiz all the more sad.

It's just Ark. Using Rin just as a way to communicate to Gai, something about how Dan's revival is interesting to him and he wants to learn more about human malice.

Not the first time. Seem like a recast using actors from the same series because they can’t get the original. Also, it’s a play on she play the queen in kiva and decade. The cast list says she’s smart queen. It’s nothing more than white ninja cameo. Don’t see this series getting a bigger budget to sell a bigger movie. It’s a niche playing for the laughs.

I'm just gonna throw out a nerdy nitpick and say I wish they used Genm Lv2's purple stripe undersuit for Genm Musou as opposed to that white-striped one that's shared by too many Ex-Aid suits. They clearly still have it since he's turning into Lv 2. : P

I think what I'm most shocked about is that Genm Level 2's suit is still around.

When I watched the final episode of Ex-Aid and everyone busted out their Lv 2 forms, I was genuinely dissapointed when Genm came in with Lv 0 because he was the only one who didn't match! That bugged me so much!! And like later on, I wondered if the reason for that was because they just flat-out got rid of the purple-striped undersuit!!

Anyhow. I wish they'd also bring back the bicycle and the modulated voice from the show's first arc, but I guess at this point, it's like wishing he could be 'cool and mysterious' again instead of just being crazy and doing zombie poses all the time :lol

Now that the episode's out, two things I have to say:

1.) How the heck is Gai still in business? First handing over a Progrise Key to his rival company and now reviving a crazy gaming president, this guy makes worse business decisions than Yahoo.

2.) That magical girl-esque Genm Musou henshin. Kuroto the meme generator is something I'll always appreciate lol. And the jingle kind of rocks? Like, I might end up enjoying it unironically the more I listen to it.

He didn't get a Master's Degree in Business Administration at age 18 for nothing, you know. :lol
