Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon Thread
There actually is a live series for Sailor Moon. It lasted one series.
In relation to this I am currently watching Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon R and working my way through the series. To my thrilled surprise Viz released an English dub of Series V Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. There have been some issues with Sailor Stars due to Sailor Neptune. And other factors. I however feel that regardless Sailor Stars completes the story so these 34 episodes are important to the actual last act of the story. Next week I place my order for Sailor Stars. With the final series in play have you had a change of opinion? Also has any one seen Sailor Stars out of curiosity? |

Ah if only Suzu were still around... Welp, guess it's on me to fill in for her.
I am slowly working my way through Stars and PGSM. All I can say is: I am reasonably certain that at the moment I hate all three of the Sailor Starlights, as individuals, as much if not more than I loathed SuperS. |
I watched Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon R last night. My set has the Dic dub BTW. I'll get to see all 3 movies. S will be later today. Super S on Thursday. The movies are their own thing. After I swap into Netflix I'll try to catch Eternal Parts 1 and 2 but want to hold till I finish Sailor Moon Crystal of which I'm watching Series 2.
My set also has Sailor Moon S and Super S so I'll be seeing those soon. I'll hold off on Sailor Stars till I finish Super S on my set so I can see it in English. Shipping in ahead though so I can go straight through on Sailor Moon. Hopefully I can finish Sailor Moon over the winter break. I still have 145 episodes yet to watch either case. In the Dic Dub Usagi's named Serina. that sort of threw me a little bit. Also the Dic cast has taken a bit of getting used to. Plot wise R The Movie was interesting. I plan to finish Sailor Moon Crystal on Netflix and Hulu. |

There is so much in these adaptations that I struggle to find words to convey my genuine revery for them. |

Still, if that days comes, remember me. :p |
I'll be watching Sailor Moon Eternal Parts 1 And 2 on Netflix in a few days once I finish the 2nd half of Crystal Series III. My set runs pretty solid so hopefully I can finish 6 -13 this week. There was that problem with the Blonde Sailor Guardian who switches between being a guy and a girl. That was one possible reason the USA never got Sailor Stars.

Also the reason Stars didn't get a US release was because the rights lapsed, not content. That was debunked years ago. |

run time, because there is only a finite amount of source material, the longer the musicals have gone on, the more exciting and creative the solutions have been when exploring canon, and that, for me, has been breathtaking to watch. I guess one of the strongest points of resonance for me personally is in how some of the stories juxtapose Pluto and Beryl as older women; that really, really interests. It doesn't hurt that they also have wonderful musical numbers, especially the original "SeraMyu" musicals from Bandai. For me, La Solider is as inherently iconic as a part of Sailor Moon as Moonlight Densetsu. I'm positive I'm not the only one saying such things too. Oh, and also, there's like a whole arc where Sailor Moon faces off against Dracula. What more could you want than that? |
Sailor Moon Crystal III is off to a wild start with the hunt for the 3 talismans. Also the joinence of the remaining Sailor Guardians and the new elite school. The last 13 are going to be nuts.
