The logo keeps a T-Rex visage, which doesn't truly correspond to any specific unadapted season. Even the Strongest Battle doesn't have enough usable footage to correspond precisely. The use of Madame Noir as Void Queen follows the minimal bits of ToQger we've gotten so far, and that in and of itself is evidence in mind. They have no qualms with using whatever suit or design they can when it comes to monsters and villains. I feel as though this will extend the eOne experimentation by expanding on Ryusoulger/Dino Fury in original ways while simultaneously using multiple suits pulled from here and there and everywhere. They may even bring back some older villains given that they produced a new Lord Zedd suit. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they commissioned some new suits of older Sentai Monsters! Original Ryusoulger/Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury suits VS. Don Armage and Garza!? I can see it happening. If right, this is an experimental gamble as it will determine the viability of wholly original material. Entirely new material which is unconnected to Sentai may follow if successful. That's my current theory. |

I'm gonna wait until we have more info before giving any sort of impressions/thoughts. Though this does make me curious about if Hasbro sees Dino Fury as some huge success, given they're retaining the cast. |
They may see more value in keeping the cast to take the current audience into the next series. PR has sorta had a recognition issue since you don't have too many multi season characters.
Also why start from scratch? You got a cast know. Pay them a little more than spend the resources replacing them. Also ever since DC/Ninjasteel, they do seem to want to maintain some sense of continuity. |
Good to have confirmation that Cosmic Fury is the actual name rather than a placeholder. Cool logo!
I speculated before that it might be a Zenkaiger adaption, based on the loose definition of "Cosmic", but if the main 6 characters from Dino Fury are carrying over, then I don't think the suits would work for them. Maybe for the 35th anniversary instead. However, the "Dino" being replaced by "Cosmic" definitely implies to me that they're going to get new suits, or at least modified suits, like MMPR's Ninja Rangers, but more Ranger-y. If that's the case, I think we're going to be seeing a lot of PR-exclusive footage next year. I guess the show will keep some of Dino Fury's aesthetic while adapting Zords and weapons from another Sentai. Kyuranger seems like the most likely option to me, as there are 6 Voyagers matching the Dino Fury colors and the others can be demoted to auxiliary, with maybe Phoenix Soldier as a special exception cause I think that suit is too cool not to use! Exciting information for us to think about on International Power Rangers Day for sure! If there's any post-Disney team I'd enjoy seeing for a third year, it's totally Dino Fury, I've become really attached to those guys. I wonder if that was part of their contract or the producers managed to persuade them to come back. |
I could picture this being the interim season that comes right before the Kyuranger adaptation if they choose to go with it.
|
So… every rumor about Cosmic Fury except the name has just been proven false. That is hilarious.
|
Whatever this is, I hope we can meet the Solar Rangers!
|
Please be Zenkaiger.

The problem with an adaptation is the logo.
The T-Rex visage means something of Ryusoulger/Dino Fury will remain in a very significant aspect. None of the unadapted Sentai have significant Dinosaur Mecha nor a significant Dinosaur Motif. Zenkaiger has Zyuran, but that's much too minor. The problem with Kyuranger is Shishi Red Orion cause that would mean "White Ranger Zayto" went from a T-Rex to...a Space Lion! Remember MMPR Season 2: "Mastodon - Lion Thunderzord Power" and "Tyrannosaurus - Red Dragon Thunderzord Power"! Do you really want that again!? Zenkaiger would also to explain the number "45", which had relevant context in Sentai at the time, but would come across as incredibly random. ToQger, Zyuohger, LuPat, and Kiramager all suffer from the aforementioned concerns... and a few others. The only significant unadapted Dinosaur Sentai is Dino Force Brave/Kyoryuger Brave...but then the obvious Dino Charge questions would come up. Just a guess, but they know we're anxious for an answer and they're probably having a blast at the way the rumor mill is churning. They know the suits will determine how this goes and that's why they aren't saying anything. But given that this is the 30th Anniversary Season, there will probably be an extremely thick MMPR inspiration and motif, so my best bet is something completely different which riffs on Ryusoulger, Zyuranger, and Dairanger (though Kiba Ranger to be specific). The main question outside of the suits will be the Zords! If these are wholly original suits (with familiar Sentai elements), then what the hell will the Zords do that's any different from what Ryusoulger did? Could we finally be getting some original Zords that aren't just toyline additions!? And since this is the 30th Anniversary Season, could old Zords come back? The return of "Return of Titanus"!? And if we are in fact getting original Zords, will they be suits or CGI or a medley of both!? I largely stand by the notion that some Sentai Villains will be used regardless of their series of origin, but original villains will be the main draw. I don't know of any other logo reveal which prompted such degree of speculation and theory! |

Yeah, actually. It made MMPR feel like more than just a Sentai adaptation. Having old characters with new Zords is fine by me. They'll probably just be straight replacements rather than evolutions like in MMPR. Assuming there's some logic in the show's writing I don't see what's wrong with the old cast moving on to a new series. That was more or less what PR did up until Lost Galaxy. |

Zyuranger suits which summon Ryuuseioh and Dairenoh with the main five Dairanger excised is something else entirely, with dinosaurs and prehistoric animals becoming mythological animals without rhyme or reason. |

Is David Yost part of the regular cast or a guest appearance? That might be are answer as to what footage they used Kiramager vs. Kyuranger Based on Cosmic Fury those two make sense. I can easily see Billy as Kyu Purple. Perhaps something totally different. |
I see 2 possibilities -
Hasbro might pull an MMPR II stunt and swap in zords from another series. Or the Dino Fury Rangers get the Kyu Ranger outfits , gear and powers. Tommy's team had gotten the Zeo powers after MMAR. |
Saw something on Twitter.
The Dino Fury cast wasn't informed about Cosmic Fury until March! A minor detail in and of itself, but significant perhaps given the context...or the lack of. |
Is "Fury" gonna be Hasbro's "Super"?
|
Love Ryusoulger and Dino Fury. Could careless about the other Super Sentai named. I'm just hoping for some major original suits and zords upgrades. And a chance to get those 4 Dino Fury Zords we're missing.
|
Thank fucking god there was no mass shooting at Power Mophicon.
|
we going back to the MMPR era we grow up with.
