DVD Pocket Monsters X Y Z Set 1 X Y Z Set 2 Journeys Set 1 Journeys Set 2 Journeys Set 3 Pre Order Master Journeys With Series XIX , XXIII , and XXXIV ordered this will bypass the need for Netflix. Waiting for Ultimate Journeys (Series XXV) to get a DVD release from Viz. 15 bucks a month or worse is hardly worth it to watch one series on stream so generally I don't have any stream feeds. Disney + is another exception due to Star Wars and Marvel having a lot of shows and movies I need to catch up on. They also have some DC shows and XD shows up I wouldn't mind seeing. Disney + also picked up Doctor Who this series which I watched the entire 2005 run on DVD including The Infinity Quest and Dreamland. Also The Scream Of The Shakla with the Alternate 9th Doctor. My Anime set also had Shada with the 4th Doctor uncut. This is why I bought Pocket Monsters on DVD. |
The haul I wanted to come in for April arrived right on the first. Nice.
https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...NA&oe=642DE624 Dreams do come true. This is my first time getting anything with the new, more compact MAFEX boxes, and I really dig 'em more than the classic box honestly. MAFEX is the king of Spider-Man figures, and both the Web-Man and Classic Costume figures are no exception. Having the best balance of articulation and sculpt in the business. However, they are not the grail of this pic or even this haul. No, that goes to the SHF No Way Home Tobey Spider-Man! And maybe it's my bias towards the first two Tobey films, but I feel like this is hands down the best SHF Spider-Man yet. No ugly gapping like with previous Spider-Man figures, all the accessories you could ever want, and posability almost on par with that of the MAFEX figures. The only real gripe I have is that the elbows are solid blue instead of half-n-half. If they didn't wanna do that though I would've preferred solid red. But whatever, I love this thing. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...Hg&oe=642D21CE Figma Primal Gridman V2 is a case similar to the Dynazenon version of the Gridknight Figma: It is technically better than the old one, but not to any sort of insane degree. I'm glad I have it, but I wouldn't fault anyone for skipping it. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...sg&oe=642E610E Nendoroid 30th Anniversary Kirby: Kirby characters are among those who absolutely gel perfectly with the Nendoroid aesthetic, and I'll never not be impressed as to how they utlized magnets in order to give Kirby near-seamless articulation. A very fun release. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...lw&oe=642D627F Power Rangers Card Game SPD Expansion: Only one more expansion left to get(until the next one releases, anyway). https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...vQ&oe=642E3AB9 SHF Cure Macaron: Another for the Cure collection. Now all I need is Moonlight and I'll have all of my favorite Cures for each of the seasons I've seen so far. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...2Q&oe=642D2F21 MAFEX T1 Terminator: T2 might be the better movie, but I've always preferred the Terminator's' T1 look. It's a very solid release all around, and I look forward to pairing him up with RoboCop. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...sQ&oe=642E0CD3 Dragon Ball Super: Superhero: While there are definitely some things in the film that irk me, I find it to be a rather enjoyable film all around. Especially the Gammas, who were the best part of the movie for me. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...CA&oe=642D4A76 SHF Event Exclusive Super Saiyan 2 Goku: Absolutely beautiful figure. The paint apps, the improved aura effect, the metal flakes in the hair... just a wonderful release all around. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...3g&oe=642CBDE0 SHF Event Exclusive Android 16: The mold is definitely outdated, but the extra paint works wonders on making him look nice, and I'm more to happy to finally have the Android Trio as I missed out on the original Android 16 release way back when. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...Hg&oe=642DED3D SHF Event Exclusive Super Saiyan Broly: This one is a mixed bag. The new aura is total crap, but the paint job for the figure itself... it works in some areas, but in others it doesn't. Like, I get what they were going for, but I wish the coloring had been handled to a way similar to that of SS2 Goku up there. I think I'll just swap out the hair for the hair from the old figure and call it good enough. |

Also im shocked that daiso u.s sells action figure supplies. What are the pipes made of and what will they be used for? |

Daiso's 1/12th scale stuff is more for aesthetic displays of goods and the like or to be used as fun little trinkets, but they also happen to work for action figures. The pipes are just plastic. Basically all of the items are. I have two other sets that I use for background scenery for photography. |

Pocket Monsters Series XXIII Journeys
Viz has removed the A Netflix Original Series bumper from the episodes for the home DVD set. You see this bumper on Pokemon TV. I watched the first 14 episodes of Journeys on Pokemon TV. It looked good so I bought the sets released to date on US DVD. I would've loved to see them do a straight up Galar series as was with the previous 7 so we get the full Galar adventure instead of bouncing around Hopefully they stay in Paladea with the Gen 9 series. |

Pocket Monsters XIX X Y Z Set 2 Now I can watch all 7 generations in order up to Sun And Moon resuming with Indigo League Episode 50 Who Gets To Keep Togapi. After I finish up to The Pokemon Water War will resume with Advance Challenge forward. My line of thinking on this is due to Ultimate Journeys which is still streaming on Netflix at the moment. In June I'll own Master Journeys. Series XXIII Journeys Set 2 is shipping in. By the time I finish Ultra Legends Gen 9 Series XXVI Horizons will get a DVD release. |

Caved and got King Ohger. Such a cool mech, I'm quite enjoying it!
Wish I could've gotten the one with God Kabuto, but that was sold out, but the normal DX is still tons of fun! Definitely gonna grab the 3 pack when I can. |
More city pick-ups while I was out:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FtJzRaBX...jpg&name=large - SHF Dukemon (Rebirth Of Holy Knight) aka Dukemon 2.0 - 2x Lightning Collection Putrids to add to the two I already had - Superwomen In Love volume 2 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FtJzRJKX...jpg&name=large Also went back to the gashapon section in Book-Off Manhattan to try and get the last rider pin I was missing, which was Faiz. Spy x Family stuff is from the leftover tokens. |
Dropped Paramount + and started up Peacock
to catch up the WWE Pay per view fights. Wrestle Mania has been running slightly longer than Summer Slam both of which I started from the beginning. Next will be Money In The Bank which has 14 episodes. Picard will be concluded in 2 weeks on Paramount+ and The Mandalorian Series III will also be on break that same week. Picard started 2 weeks earlier btw. |

My first ever driver has arrived. I'm generally much more of an action figure collector, but couldn't resist the reissue.
Attachment 62827 I slightly regret not going for the Hazard set as well, but you can't buy everything. |

DVD Pocket Monsters X Y Z (Series XIX) Set 2 Bought on E Bay and shipped in VIA USPS due to a botch up in the UPS system. Now I own all 23 Series on DVD (Indigo League - Journeys). Will get Master Journeys on the Viz site next month. I ordered new Super Squadron sets on DVD VIA the Shout Factory site up to Deka. (5 Man , Aba and Deka) I had gotten Jet Man on E Bay to fill the sets from Shout Factory. |
A pair of impulse buys from Amiami.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FtiicksX...jpg&name=large SHF Gavan and Gavan Type-G. Took the chance to shave their wrist joints down a bit to keep from any breakage. They're definitely on the small side and a bit outdated in some areas when it comes to articulation but they look very nice. The shine on them is very satisfying to look at. |

Got this guy and started watching Keitai Sousakan 7.

I ordered the Tomb Raider DVD Game today.
This is an adaption of Tomb Raider VI The Angle Of Darkness on Play Station 2. I'd been having trouble with the PS 2 version and got stuck on the 2nd Paris level. They made new footage for the DVD. |

That Doctor fusion between 13, 4, 7 and 6 is interesting, what's that figures story?

I haven't played any DVD games so Tomb Raider will be interesting.
This is the first DVD video game I've ever played. Holding Peacock to catch up Wrestle Mainia , Summer Slam and Money In The Bank once I get to the 2010 episodes. Doctor Who I did see The Power Of The Doctor on TV actually. I also bought the DVD to include it in my weekly 2005 run. |
Just a friendly reminder: Don't leave any batteries in your toys for too long!
I was certain there weren't any batteries in my DX Ongekiko and I randomly opened it today to find battery corrosion. I cleaned it up with some vinegar and everything is fine, but beware! |
WOOO BOY
https://i.imgur.com/lySo4ud.jpg I'll get a chance later in the week to crack these open but I'm glad to finally get all of these. Better late than never! I used Hobby Genki so everything was ordered over the span of a couple months; just waited for it all to arrive and ship all at once |
That's some awesome stuff, enjoy!
I can't stop being amazed by that Shin Kamen Rider, so good. |
