Calling it now: Hasbro will use the anniversary special as an excuse to crank out another set of MMPR Lightning Collection figures.

Yeah probably. I mean, the Remastered line is now a thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if Black and Pink got announced now that Blue and Yellow are out.

i hope they will show us the red Turbo ranger to preorder it.

I'd say I'd hope for a Koragg LC figure, but considering the point of this stream, probably not. And even then, with the recent string of QC issues, not sure I'd want one.

Unless they announce a renewed focus on Quality Control, consider my wallet shut.

I want to see something that has a legitimate "WOW" factor.

Lightning Collection no longer interests me all that much, and breaking Astronema's forearm while trying to get the figure out of the plastic insert is a large part of that! They'd have to do something BIG and/or zany with a character that I like to get my attention. Even a Monster figure has to be unique! That said, they might do a Mighty Minotaur LC since he's gonna appear in revised robot form in O&A. Snizzard already got LC treatment.

Another idea is a Dragonzord to complement those Hasbro Dinozords from a while back. However, it's been a little too long since those Dinozords were on shelves. Thunderzords might make more sense.

I would advertise ULTIMATES, but we already know what the next wave is, so that news isn't worth anything.

Could pitch more Walmart Ranger and Megazord figures, but Wave 2 Megazords never really appeared on Walmart shelves and ended up at Ollie's for dirt cheap!

Might have a few leftovers from Dino Fury to pitch, but that won't really make an impact.

I doubt that they're ready to start advertising Cosmic Fury toys, but a minor possibility exists.

A few roleplay items might work, like a Sword of Darkness or Goldar's Sword or one of Billy's gadgets would be unexpected! Mirror of Destruction or Scorpina's boomerang are highly unlikely. Don't have a clue how you would market a Wheel of Misfortune/Wheel of Destruction.

I have often dreamed of large-scale monster figures, like the Giant (Dora Titan) or Cyclopsis (Dora Talos).

I would also like to see, though we probably never will, a large "Angel Grove City Playset" that has a few molded details like the Youth Center and a skyscraper with Rita's palace on it, and maybe throw in Lokar on a clear pole to really sell it! Admittedly, if they ever did do it, this would be a Has-Lab project.

I have only speculations and wish-fulfillment ideas, but nothing set in stone. They'll probably just pitch a couple of crappy LC figures and say nothing about the QC issues... again!

I'll be moderately surprised if they say anything else.

As for the stuff announced during it...

• If you end up with an LC figure that's defective, contact customer support at hasbro-new.custhelp.com and they'll replace it for you.
• LC Turbo Red officially revealed. And surprisingly it's TJ and not Tommy.
• They've been reading all of the critiques fans have been making, and will be focusing on starting up new teams as the line continues to go forward.
• LC RPM Yellow also revealed, with her unmasked headsculpt front and center. It's definitely a step up from previous sculpts.
• LC Lightspeed Blue also revealed alongside the leaks. Surprisingly, this makes the first 3-figure wave, as there's no noted reissue to go along with it like what happened when MMPR White got reissued awhile back.
• The Cobra Kai Collab is apparently selling well because that crossover wave is getting more figures. Target Exclusive.
• More figures for the Remastered line revealed: Pink, Black, Green, and Red. You can actually remove the bands and the Dragon Shield off of Green to give to other figures!
• The MMPR Black body was added as an option for the Selfie Series, and for this week only, if you use the code PRGSELFIE20 you can get a 20% discount for a Selfie Series Ranger figure.
• LC Minotaur revealed as the next Monster figure.
• Rita Repulsa revealed as the latest figure in the Remastered line, which also marks the first time we can buy her as a release separate from Zedd.
• The final announcement of the day is a non-NFT version of the ZAP Black & Gold Dino Megazord. Limited amounts will be available for pre-order starting later today.

So much for my fun little speculations!

Mighty Morphin' was pretty much expected, and my guess about LC Minotaur rang true, but that's about it on my end.

I was asking for too much and expecting too much, wasn't I?

I was going to make a snarky comment about Lightspeed Blue's head sculpt certainly being an effort, but I've realized that I legitimately cannot remember that character's name or what he looked like.

I mean you're not wrong. That sculpt looks almost nothing like Chad from Lightspeed Rescue.

So you know, on par with like 90% of the LC head sculpts.

To clarify some stuff, the Selfie Series discount is only for premium Pulse members, not just anyone.

Also Rita is considered a deluxe release like Minotaur and the past monsters, not part of the Remastered line. Considering she wasn't announced along with the other Remastered figures and is going up for preorder tomorrow rather than alongside the Remasters.

Turbo Red and Rita are instant buys. I'm glad TJ looks to be coming with everything he needs. Do wish he came with a thumbs up hand just as a sly bone-throw to Sentai fans, but coming with symmetrical hands and all his relevant weapons is fantastic. Figure itself also looks great. Well painted, pinless, exactly the standard this line should follow.

Rita also looks great; leagues better than the wedding two-pack version. Love how they did the alternate faces and her sculpting and proportions in relation to the soft goods cloak look much more accurate. Very excited to finally have a good Rita without trying to look for the two-pack version or risking the S7 release.

If he did that is totally gone from my memory. He did have a fling with a mermaid though.

Turbo Red does look great. But I am a bit crushed it doesn't include the thumbs hand, that was the pose I wanted to replicate the most ! Maybe I'll pick it up when it is in stock ...

Maybe one day the LC Time Red will get reissued, and you guys can steal the thumbs up hand off that?

EDIT: Nevermind. Time Force gloves are color coded and not white. My bad.

I like the look of the Remastered figures. Kimberly and Zach's heads are spot on.

TJ is a great choice, and I like them officially stating they're dipping into other teams.

So it seems the Remastered Green Ranger won't come with his shield and it will come with the remastered Red Ranger instead. Seems not everyone has picked up on that, but that is the vibe I got from the stream.

Rita looks great. It may not be part of the remastered line, but it basically is a remastered figure. Same price point, same concept, only a wider release.

That did not at all appear to be the case. The Shield is still coming with Green, it's just that you can remove it and give it to the other figures. Them displaying Green without the Shield and Red with it was to showcase that feature.

That's not what I've understood either.

I understood that they were replicating the "Green Candle" Episode and so Red was coming with the shield and Green was coming with the candle...

The figures are live on Hasbro Pulse, and the shield indeed is packed with Red

Jup. But the Dragon Dagger still comes with Green, so you need both for the full set.

Not gonna lie, I don't like this decision.

Honestly, if Green?s helmet is fixed I might grab, otherwise I?m good, I only need Pink, Red and Yellow and the Dragon Shield will go to Pink.

Green Ranger not coming with the extra Green Ranger bits because they come with the Red Ranger is so hilariously dumb. Maybe we'll get a Re-remastered Green Ranger later.

I preordered the Turbo and RPM rangers... They know how to get my money.
