Gadget Triple Threat Trouble

Story set during Velma! but retains the gang as seen in the New
Scooby-Doo Movies

Coolsville

Mystery Machine

Daphne was driving.
"Hey Velma can you check for anything new on Drakken?"
Fred asked.
Velma looked it up.
"Bingo. Problem is he's here in Cookeville and microchips have
gone missing." Velma said.
"Where?" Daphne asked.
"The new lab that was built last year." Velma said.
"We should go there first. I'm on it gang I know
the place."
Daphne floored it.

Middleton

At the same time Team Possible was on the hunt
for Drakken.
Wade contacted them.
"A few hours ago Drakken made off with microchips.
He's planning something big. An hour ago he was tracked
Here in Middleton."
"What?" Ron asked. "KP what if he's building one of
those androids that he can use with an RC?"
"Hold that thought Ron." Kim said.
"Actually Ron guessed the plan. Drakken wants
to use the chip to control somebody." Wade told Kim and
Ron.
"Who?" Ron asked.
"Gadget was rebuilt so that could be Drakken's target."
"Then we'd better get there first." Kim snapped.

Coolsville

Daphne pulled up next to the lab and the 4 of them
got out.
"Man Drakken is going after some high end tech."
Shaggy said.
" We have to find out why." Fred said.
Velma looked at the others.
"It has to be small enough not to be noticed."
The gang smiled.
"Micro chips." Fred said.
"Exactly." Velma told Fred.
"Let's check it out gang." Fred said as they went in

Middleton

Kim and Ron were both going to the location
Wade had given them.
Sa Ron guessed it was a lab that had micro chips.
Kim looked at Ron.
"Ron I think we need to call Mystery Inc on this one." Kim said as she
dialed a number.
"Hello." Shaggy asked.
"Shaggy Doctor Drakken was after micro chips so he can control
somebody."
"We're at a lab here in Coolsville. Our guy was after those and then he was
gone."
Kim looked at Ron.
"KP there's only one guy who fits that pro."
"Spill Ron."
"Inspector Gadget." Ron said.
"Bingo and that means we go to Metro City."
"That's where we're going. We'll see you guys there. Daph next stop
Metro City and step on it." Shaggy said as he hung up.

Metro City

Quimby called Penny into his office.
"Penny I have a mission for you. Doctor Drakken is after
something so I've sent Gadget out of the area for a few days."
"What's up chief?"
Drakken plans to use a micro chip to control someone.
Also we think he might be after the blueprints we used to build
your uncle. Inspector Penny you'll be in charge of this one."
Penny grinned.
"Check chief I'm on it. Nobody uses Uncle Gadget for dominarion
and gets away with it."
"It's perminant Penny. Considering the steaks we have to face. I want
you both on the job."
"Yes sir Quimby. And if Drakken is after my Uncle Kim Possible is
already hot on his trail. She can help me stop him."
Next she called Quimby.
"Chief save protocall for later. I need you guys to shadow Drakken
until Mystery Inc gets here. Kim Possible is also on the job. Buy
them time to get here."
"Can do Penny."
"Don't let Drakken catch you guys. Keep an eye on Uncle Gadget
til they get here."
Penny hung up.

Coolsville

Shaggy hung up.
"Thanks Shaggy. If Drakken is after Gadget then it's a job
got Mystery Incorporated." Daphne said. "Next stop Metro
City."
"I'll call the Metro PD and tell them we're coming."
Velma passed Shaggy a number and he dialed.
"Inspector Penny speaking."
"Mystery Inc calling. We're on our way so keep
an eye on Drakken and stall him. We think
he's after Gadget. Kim Possible called us."
"See you soon Shaggy." Penny said as she hung
up.

Middleton

KP why is Drakken after Gadget? His plans always never
work."
"Because we stop him Ron. An army of Gadgets might
be out of our league. Luckily Mystery Inc can help us
shut Drakken down."
Ron nodded.
"Come on KP Drakken isn't a guy in a mask. Drakken is
the real thing."
"True Ron but we need back up big time."
"Meaning?"
"This plan of Drakken's is more sophisticated this time.
Mind control tech. Worse yet we won't be able to tell
the real Gadget from the fakes and that means we
have to get to Gadget first."
Mystery Inc. is also after Drakken. I just hope we get
to Gadget before Drakken does."

Metro City

Penny hung up.
"It figured Mystery Incorporated might be after Drakken. Just my great luck.
Both them and Team Possible. Man I can't wait." Penny said.
Her phone rang.
"Inspector Penny."
"Gadget here How's it going?"
"Double awesome Uncle Gadget. Kim Possible and Mystery Inc are both
after Drakken."
"Your first big case Penny. What a way to break into the bug league."
"We've delt with Claw remember?"
"True." Gadget said.
"Why would Drakken be after you?"
"Think Penny. To build an army of me." Gadget told Penny. "It's always a numbers
game for guys like Drakken."
That left her shell shocked.
"No way." Penny muttered as she hung up. "A Gadget army..."
She also remembered what Shaggy said about stalling Drakken.
She called a number she spotted.
"Hello." Ron said.
"Ron Drakken plans to build an army using my Uncle as a prototype.
If he gets the glitches perfected we're in serious trouble."
"Did you get that KP?"
"Already on it Ron. Penny we'll be there ASAP."
Penny hung up.
Her phone rang.
"Inspector Penny."
"Perfect. I've gone after Claw. It seems he's out to try his usual bag of tricks.
He escaped prison a few weeks ago so I've been following him"
"Be careful Uncle Gadget."
"The chief is with me now per your instructions."
"Hello Penny."Quimby said.
"Chief how did he escape?"
"Sleeping gas on the cards Penny."
"Claw and Drakken? Give me a break.Quimby you guys are on probation.
You two stay with Claw. Consider this a warning. Any more mistakes
you'll be on suspension Quimby. Protocall has to wait. That goes
for both you and Uncle Gadget."
Penny hung up.

Quimby hung up.
"Well Gadget we're in trouble if Claw gets away. Penny is
now in charge. Let's just say that we have one more
chance to shut down Claw or we're both out of a job."
"Got it Chief. Given the stunts Claw has tried we might be able
to find his next target."
Quimby nodded.
He knew where Gadget was going.
Chief Quimby saw a MAD agent and stopped to listen.
"We'll be able to stop Gadget once we steal one of
Drakkens clones for Claw. Gadget will be one of
us once we terminate the real Gadget."
Gadget heard the whole thing.
"That's what Claw thinks." Gadget muttered.
It was at that second Gadget saw Shego.so he slipped behind
her.
Then he put a hand on her.
"In the name of Metro PD I'm placing you under arrest. I know about
that army Drakken is building and it stops with me right now."
He took Shego to the station.
"That idiot got me busted and dropped in the slammer." Shego
snapped. "I'm done bailing him out."

Penny was shocked when she saw Gadget bring Shego.
"Great job Gadget. She works for Drakken. You caught
his number one."
"Apparently she overheard Claw planning to use me."
Gadget said.
"That solves half our problem for us." Penny told Gadget.
She looked as Shego.
"You going to spill it and tell us the plan?"
"As a matter of fact I am." Shego said.
She was fed up with Drakken.
"This ought to be good." Penny muttered.
Shego told Penny everything.
