wow kyoryujin looks amazing.

I wonder if the new Kyoryujin actually separates/transforms into its dino modes or is just a mecha that can reconfigure to accept the King Ohger parts? It doesn't look like the legs transform into T. Rex legs and partsform to become arm parts.

While I'm not jazzed about Daigo's return, I must admit that I am glad this new version of Kyoryuzin fixes a lot of the original's proportional problems. It looks quite nice.
I wonder if the stego and tricera are fully converting figures, though.

I mean, in the pic where he's holding King Ohger's sword, there seems to be a massive tyrannosaurus foot hanging off his elbow, so I'm inclined to say yes.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing Daigo again. I like the new Kyoryuzin too.

$130 is a lot for Full Action Kyoryujin.

Well, I guess the new pics answer whether tricera and stego are fully functioning figures. Good to know!

Anyway, it's nice for Kyoryujin fans to get a fully articulated version (As well as one that's likely less prone to breakage), but it's still a mecha design that I'm not a big fan of, so I'm probably passing it.

It doesn't look like the new Kyoryujin is compatible with the Zyudenchi, but the black triangle on it's chest still look likes a button, so I'm thinking it might still have electronics.
Curious if it's going to just be the same old samba noises and whistles, or if it'll have some King Ohger sounds, too.

The fact that the Kyoryuzin head is just sticking up in the middle of the new Gabutyra’s body infuriates me greatly.

This is what the Dino Charge Megazord should have been.

If they end up ditching the original jingle I have a feeling we'll still get a samba jingle of some sort. And to go off topic, I wonder if this toy sells well they start giving past show main mechas the same makeover. SMP sort of has that covered but revisiting past mechas with current technology for the DX Sentai Robo department I think could be another new potential opportunity for Bandai.

I wonder if the "Full Action" name means they're trying to push more updated mech. It would be weird to make just Kyoryuzin with this special name attached

To date this is the clearest look at King Kyoryu Red.

Man, it's amazing how the blemishes of an item appear more vividly once you see its price tag. I think the new FA Kyoryuizin is good looking for sure, but not y13,000 good. The head no retracting or hiding at all is pretty lame, as is the combination with the other bugs being only relegated to the main four. If this was even 9900y I'd feel the squeeze, but I don't see where the extra cost goes into it. Not even having compatibility with Kyroryujer's main gimmick also feels wasted.

Definitely going to wait for a sale. Love the idea behind it, but not sold on the execution. I've been all-in on King Ohger's mecha so far, but Caucasus was kind of weak and this has limited appeal to me due to not being overly fond of Kyroryuzin to start.

- Rintaro Kawana who will play Prince (guy in red) looks a lot like Toshiki Kashu aka Shoichi from Agito but that's just me
- Ian looks more like Yoshiki from X-Japan with his new do :lolol That said he looks good in it
- Good to see Amy again, I wonder if she will return to showbiz like Yui Koike
- Sucks Nossan doesn't have his fro but nonetheless good to see him again after Geats
- Souji hardly aged a bit :lolol I hope we get to see him do some swordfighting out of his ranger form

Fun fact it's said that Rintaro Kawana had a guest appearance a few years ago in Ryusoulger episode 7.

Red and Gold's actors are both name dropped in the Japanese announcement. So there's probably a good possibility they're involved in some capacity. Maybe just relegated to voice acting.

More Kyoryuger is exactly the opposite of what I wanted to hear about this crossover.

I like Ian, but yeah, didn't really want to see those other core members. I'm guessing there's some time travel stuff happening as well, since there's no way King's son can be any older than 8.

Speaking of which, while they probably chose this show for being 10 years old now and it printed money back in it's heydays, I kinda wonder how it would've been if they went to extremes and brought back Dynaman or Dairanger alumni. I bet at the least Haruta who played Dyna Black, Hagiwara who played Dyna Pink, and the Dairanger cast would be up for it.

I'd have gone with KingRanger before anyone else because dude was literally called "KingRanger."

Yeah, that works too. Heck they could even do stuff like have the shugods get on board the King Pyramider for a special collabo attack and stuff now that I think about it.

It really bugs me that his costume is just a kitbash of existing pieces and not a new design blending the two aesthetics. They couldn't even make a new undersuit or helmet.

And yeah, this whole crossover feels forced and unnecessary. As has been said, why of the rangers who have actually been royalty of some kind do you choose the one who literally just calls himself King as a nickname?

It would've also been nice to get Riki's actor back so we could see him some 30 years later.

I believe so? They pretty much gutted out the electronics and added more articulation instead if I recall.
