Tomb Raider II they start you off with trap after trap so there is no let up from after you scale the wall.
Luckily it helps you can save any place in game.

I will need to snail crawl this game.

Set this up to play them for difaculty order. Addylwych is tame for game play.

Another case of play any adventure you want to. I had set this up ahead of time.

Tomb Raider VII

This is where they got rediculous with their jumps as when the PS2 came out they were more
showing off wqhat the Play Staion 2 can do rather than it being a game.

Overall

Visually speaking I was impressed with Tomb Raider VII - IX Underworld.

So far the toughest level to finish was Tomb Raider VII Legend - Area 3 Japan.

Yep, that sure is a list of the Tomb Raider games.

What was the toughest level you guys have played in all 12 games so far? (main line)

There's a level near the end of Anniversary where you have to climb up a tower that's rapidly filling with lava or something. Fuck that level.

Hmm, I recall Floating Islands in China from TR2 was pretty tough, for both platforming and combat. Lots of big jumps and slopes that require quick timing and a bunch of strong enemies in narrow areas that pistols barely scratch.

I'm on my first run for Tomb Raider II.

Tempted to restart once I find stuff to see if I can make it with more health packs.

A bumpy spot for me is Tomb Raider III Addylwych when you're in a subway tunnel and have to get to a room. I always get hit by a train.

I was going over the Tomb Raider I levels from memory to finish the game from when I was playing on a friend's PC in the 90s.

Watched TR II Level 2 a few times on a playthrough to make sure I hadn't missed anything.

Toughest level

Tomb Raider VII - Area 3 Japan

For me, the most difficult level was "Floating Islands" from TR2. The combination of tricky platforming and tough enemies in those narrow spaces really tested my patience. Also, I struggled with the T-Rex in Anniversary, figuring out the right timing was a real challenge

I tested Final Fantasy IX for backwards compatability. Tomb Raider was the main draw for this.

It's nice to be able to play all the Tomb Raider games on 1 system.

Hopefully I can do so again with PC starting with Tomb Raider X (Survivor Trilogy Part 1).

Really hope the Legends trilogy gets this treatment, too. I'd love to replay those games without digging out the PS2 and 360.

I have my PS 2 hooked up so not worried about it.

However there is a problem in one regard -

This is a PS 2 game so I was thinking that they might have to scale it back visually. They did this for Tomb Raider VII Legend and Tomb Raider VIII Anniversary which were both PS 2 games when they were ported to the Game Boy Advance.

This is why I own Tomb Raider VI - IX on PS2. No visual scale backs.

I think the PS5 can handle PS2-era graphics a little better than the Game Boy Advance.

We're talking about the Switch actually. When porting to a hand held system that's where they have to scale it back.

The controls are bollocked up and suck nards as everybody claims as I've played this on PS2 myself.

So I would like to see them fix the control issues for Tomb Raider VI. Because if it's like PC ad PS2 I may skip this one.
