Yasushi Nirasawa, Designer of the Imagin, Has Passwed Away
At only 52, famed design artist Yasushi Nirasawa has passed away.
He's perhaps most well known for his work on Kamen Rider Den-O as the designer of the Imagin, but his presence was felt throughout the franchise & indeed toku in general. Mr Nirasawa's design work for kaijin included: Kamen Rider Blade Kamen Rider Kabuto Kamen Rider Den-O Kamen Rider Decade Kamen Rider G Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Golden Knight Garo Godzilla Final Wars |
That's really sad. :(

52 is way too young to die. I offer my condolences to his family in their time of mourning.

Yeah this is pretty much the saddest piece of news I've ever had to report on. His work on Den-O is what got me into the franchise and the wider world of tokusatsu in general. It breaks my heart to hear he's passed at such a young age.

Damn!! Another person with magnificent talent is gone.
|
What a shame. It won't be the same without him.
|
Any word on the cause?

That sucks, RIP. I saw some of his work besides the Imagin, man he was amazing.
