Okay, Kijino has seriously gone coocoo.
Even more than before. Glad they didn't kill Sonoshi. He's too interesting to waste in 1 episode. |

Wonder when the Donbrothers are gonna become a full-fledged team? And I say... Kijino gets replaced! |

I don't want to see Kijino get replaced, but one thing to keep in mind is that, Tarou aside, he's the only member whose powers haven't been used by someone else.

Yo, that ending! I applauded the screen, lol.
No way, when he said ?my wife came back? that it was not gonna be an absolute clownshow disaster! Haha, that doll don?t even look like her either. It took me listening to a Japanese person discussing donbrothers after the first episode or so to realize that the noto?s names were pronounced like Sono I(chi) Sono (ni) Sono za(n). I immediately started wondering if there would be a Sono yo(n) or Sono shi. I don?t even understand Japanese. I don?t know why I was watching a japanese person talk about the show, but I did. Oh and since there is a Sonoshi, will there be a Don Momoshi, or Don Musashi to give them four guys too? Anyway, this show is fantastic as always. Not sure if I ship sonoza and onisister, which I was getting some vibes of that here, but I much prefer the mentor/mentee kind of relationship that they had. And our boy Hanamura needs to make a comeback! Win back your girl, bro! Not gonna lie, the ninja guy dying in that other episode really rubbed me the wrong way, so I am glad to see he just is back. I like to imagine taro just went and retrieved him on his own off camera. Speaking of people getting saved off camera, 100% Sononi saved Inubro last week, right? Quote:

I remember reading too much into the fact that the replacement onisister had yellow and pink fingernail polish, but I guess that was not foreshadowing anything. I was kind of expecting her to show up as a pink replacement. |
I feel Kijino is kind of getting screwed over more than he deserves :lol
Man is a salaryman in a go nowhere job (Which is infamous for the high depression levels in Japan) and is considered all around unremarkable. Suddenly he gets a streak of luck in finding the love of his life. A year later, random convict stranger that he's been hospitable to takes her, then (We, as the audience), learn that Miho herself isn't real, but Natsumi's personal dream, but we're treating him as the bad guy? I mean, I can't help but feel why Kijino cracked the way he did. I feel bad for him, and I don't really see him as the monster a lot of others are framing him as :lol Right now, I think the only way to keep him from falling off the deep end is the brief snippet we got between Inuzuka and his Juuto, in that they can both exist at the same time. So perhaps the crane Juuto could stay as Miho (Since she seems pretty chill), while Natsumi could be freed for Inuzuka. |

I think the big problem for kijino was that Miho was a fantasy created specifically for him. You think his job was a dead end? I think she was a dead end for him. I think back to that episode where he became a successful jerk and she ended up in the hospital telling him something like, ?I like it better when you are pathetic.? (?I like it more when you are failing a little? is how it was translated.) Now, clearly Kijino was acting like a jerk, and needed to be put in his place and humbled, but she specifically liked that he was a loser. Anyway, you can?t be that codependent! Kijino needs to work on himself a bit and miho definitely was not ?good? for him. Dude turned into a monster twice based off his weird dependecy on her. Edit: What is happening to Kijino definitely is cruel and unfair and sucks, but he has a lot of issues that need to be worked on for him to have a happy ending, imo. A very complex and rich character. I like that they show the dude still has problems even after they kill the hitotsuki possessing him. I think he would be better off with a “real” woman that he could have a less toxically dependent relationship with. |
