About zenkaiger, its more than likely that it will be another gokaiger situation with the legacy based powers. Bandai has shown a love for rail based encoding on their collectible gimmicks as well as going overboard in legacy seasons. It's more than likely a keybased gimmick, (not literal keys since gokaiger did those) like what they had for marvel disc wars and yokai watch. Something like those could easily fit in a morpher as well as be cheap and easy to produce for gashapon and candy toy, as well as stand apart from the gimmick items of previous installments. With the mecha i highly doubt a splitting gimmick with the machines. Bandai always spends more, and produces more merchandise during anniversary seasons. That principle coupled with the recent trend of cost cutting and lower parts count with their sentai products, it would require a lot more plastic to engineer a combining mecha that homage 5 distinct series and then also have a splitting feature. With the amount of paint on each vehicle to the stability of the mecha when splitting it, it would cause issues with the mechas structural stability and cut into profit. Maybe they do something crazy like that, it would be pricey and the engineering would have to be done a specific way, but it may help boost sentais' stagnating sales and reignite interest in the brand. But who knows. Just my two cents. |
LuPat was a failed experiment, case closed. Even though it seemed interesting at first, the story was great enough to win an award in Japan, and the easter eggs were abundant, it failed. It basically brought down the franchise sales-wise doing less than Ninninger if I recall.

Also, your use of JAKQ makes no sense. JAKQ was themed after playing cards, from the name referencing the jack playing card and each ranger suit referencing a different playing card suit. It made its playing card theme obvious. But as of yet, nothing of what we've hears about Zenkaiger gives the impression of a chess theme. Ryusoulgers mooks and monsters had very pevalent chess themes though. |

I feel that just like how saban made Ninningers footage a success as Ninja Steel, Hasbro could have luck doing the same with LuPat. They did great with beast morphers and improved the megazord proportions, durability at connection points, and stability to a degree. Maybe they could fix Good Cool Kaiser and gives us an even better Kyurenoh, their iteration of Teramigo is shaping up to be a good indicator of hasbro's capabilities. |

But yeah, I remain skeptical but repurposing them as rogue vigilante rangers could be somewhat plausible that could retain the core concept of LuPat without bringing negative connotations from the potentially concerned. |

They even went through the trouble of making a suit for PatKaizer Splash and it never got used. That's just sad.
