It's the DX Arcle and not the CSM? Dangit, I gotta continue to wait then. So close...

I'm yet to see any kind of article/announcement/press release about these though... the usual place I'd look for things like this hasn't posted anything yet. I'd be surprised if it isn't at least mentioned in this weeks development blog though, it's 95% focused on CSM but often gives a shoutout to anything other exciting releases like these. |

I do wonder though just how much they're going to cover in this series? I'm very happy with just these two, but with the limitations in place of the low price, no moving parts and no extra items it does kinda limit what could be done. Agito and a bunch of other Showa Guys of course, but most Heisei Riders even before Decade have some sort of additional item or moving part to their belts... perhaps some of them will sacrifice extra function for things like twisting the OOO driver or including a scannable Wizard Ring? |
AGREED, the Typhoon is an absolute must-buy for me, and the Arcle I'm definitely keen for if I can manage it. Stoked for as and when we get more details on these tbh.
Hmm, I could see Agito too for sure. Den-O would be another pretty easy one, just have the buttons trigger the sequence directly and waving the rider pass be a purely imagination thing! I think that's how the last Legend Rider series approached it, though I might be wrong. Thinking about it, that series actually tackled a lot of early Heisei, including some more involved ones like Blade and Kabuto, though to be fair it was something like a decade ago so they do look pretty dated now. My suspicion this time around is they won't do anything at all that uses collectibles, purely for the sake of keeping it simpler and low cost - both in that the gimmick itself adds complexity, but also that the number of sounds required shoots right up. Honestly tho? My personal preference would be for them to go all in on Showa! It might not be the best decision in terms of sales figures, but it is the anniversary and a lot of those belts have seen virtually nothing in decades now. |

Well, somewhat unfortunate news from the development blog is that the Legend belts will seemingly only have red LEDs... not just a shame for the Arcle's form changes, but I was really hoping that Typhoon would capture the streaks of blue in the transformation too. Eh, especially for the price it's going for I can't complain too much, still a pickup!

Very nice! I'm excited for that Typhoon. The Arcle looks like its going to be hard to resist too. Just a very nice looking belt design that hides the belt loops nicely.
