Some variations of the G1 logo do split it across 2 lines, but I think that's a stylistic thing, given all of the legal and commercial stuff spells it as one word "Transformers"

Yeah, I thought of that like an hour later, and I'm like 90% sure it's stylistic, since it's never done that way anywhere else. Although since that's the logo at the end of the theme song, it's not a hard mistake to make.

Also I sorry if my last post sounded too aggressive. Looking at it now I might have been a bit forceful.

They do! Legends-class toys are pretty neat; I was tempted to pick up a few of the new ones.

Talking about being tempted - I kind of want to get on the Deathsaurus-train. But with Hasbro I'm reluctant to spend this much money when one QC-error could ruin the whole thing for me.

I'm largely out of the Transformers-game anyhow. Last things I bought were Siege figures. Although I have pre-ordered Tarn because that figure looks perfect, and is a cool one-off to get IMO.

I would have been interested in Star Saber and Deathsaurus but the prices were exorbitant and they expect you to come up with that much spare cash within a couple months at the christmas period?? Bit much. If they were normal Leader or maybe Commander releases I'd be much more interested.

As-is I'm really considering the Legacy TM2 Megatron. That thing looks so good

I almost pulled the trigger on Star Saber, but after seeing some reviews of it, I'm truly glad I did not. It's kind of crazy how much can go wrong with a transformer that you can't really predict.

I wonder what the story is behind these leaks.

The leaks are remarkable as they're effectively removing any doubt about this rendition.

I also wonder how far they'll take this. Powerlink redeco? Combinable partner like Armada Jetfire (and the obligatory redeco into the infamous Spacewarp)? Armada Overload (and the fail-at-everything Sentinel Maximus)?

The two issues I have with this line is how it's not taking advantage of characters who never got the figure treatment (though exceptions like G2 Jihaxus exist), and also how this line like so many before it are predicated on nostalgia rather than trying something new and different. Beast Wars worked cause it was so different from what came before while simultaneously referencing its origins.

I feel Legacy is fixing a lot of issues previous lines have made. While it does ride on nostalgia, it's not using it as a crutch. G1 will always dominate the generations line, regardless of how much it's rebranded, but they're making changes.
The line launched with Skids and Kickback, of all characters. The Optimus that's going to market is G2's Laser Prime. BW is getting more of it's cast filled, and we're getting characters that haven't had any toy representation like Jhiaxus and Tarn.

The Junkions are getting a much needed expansion in character variety, and later year characters like Needlenose, Skyquake (We're getting the Prime version, but it's kind of clear we'll also get the G1 version), and the Pretenders beyond just Bludgeon are getting attention.

It's more G1 love, yeah, but they're finally doing something for characters beyond 1986.
