A suitable title for an all-female Kamen Rider movie/web series?
What would be a suitable title for a series/movie if ever?
"Kamen Rider All-Girl Riders Forever"! "Kamen Rider Girls on Top"! "Kamen Rider Girls Run the World"! Come up with your good titles for such a movie/web series to come for all female riders. Something positive and no negatives please. |
Girls In Trouble: Kamen Rider Edition

"Let's Girl! Kamen Rider! All Girls Unite!" or "Pretty Kamen Rider All-Out Attack!"

Might get flak for this opinion, but I'd be perfectly fine if there wasn't the word 'girl' in the title. 'Kamen Rider' feels like a pretty gender-neutral term to me and it's a bit disappointing to me that we have to add 'girl' (or similar words) to the title because it's such a male-dominated franchise.

Personally, titles work best when they reflect the concept/plot of a show (e.g. Star Wars is about a war in space, Game of Thrones reflects the political drama and 'war games' over territory, Genms the Presidents focused on...Genm and presidents, etc.) or a central plot device (e.g. Lord of the Rings references the plot device) and so far all we have is a prompt: 'female-oriented Kamen Rider show'. There's no actual story right now. I don't want to do female Riders a disservice by making the title seem like the only gimmick to the show is having female Kamen Riders, kind of seems sexist to me ('watch us because we have female Riders' is not indicative of quality). This is just my take on it though; I have nothing against anyone who wishes to make a title for a hypothetical female-oriented Kamen Rider series/movie, and everyone should be able to have the freedom to have fun with the concept. Of course, I'm not against the idea of having the word 'girl' or 'female' in the title (all I said was that I was disappointed that it seems like we have to add 'girl' to the title because Kamen Rider is such a male-dominated franchise, probably should have worded my earlier reply better); Super Sentai's 'Hero Mama League' special is a good example. Not only does it use 'mama' (female term) in the title, it reflects the focus of the special; it's superheroes who are also mothers. The title reflects the concept, which is why it works. As an aspiring writer, I come up with titles after I flesh out a story idea a bit so I guess that's just how I operate. |

In the end, titles can be anything, but the potential for a full Female Rider special is indeed there, and I don't really mind if they do or don't take it. |
Simple. Whatever the series is about.
You can have a series/movie/web series about a group of all female Riders without having to explicitly say it's all women. Back when people thought Zi-O was a woman, it's not like they were assuming the name meant "She-O" or something. And Pretty Den-O is about a girl, but it's not Kamen Rider Den-O Girl. |

The movie/web series I?m picturing will feature Geats? possible female rider, Jeanne, Sabela, Valkyrie and Tsukuyomi as the main female riders. Woz would be like the guide in their mission. Plus Femme makes a comeback. There’ll be an antagonist, who?ll kidnap all the men. Ridewatches make a return, and there?ll be clones of female riders and female monsters for the main ones to face. Calibur Sophia, 02 Izu & Aguilera/Hana will be like brainwashed generals. Tackle would be a kidnapped source for the antagonist. I’m hoping Tsukuyomi might get an upgrade like Grand Zi-O & Geiz Majesty. And if Ora makes a return, make her the new Kiva-la. |
I know it's already been used, but I think "Kamen Rider Amazons" would be a good title for an all-female Kamen Rider series.
