I get the distinct impression that copies like Basco makes in the series, or the ones that Black Cross made in this movie aren't anywhere near as strong as their actual selves without anyone piloting...

SIC and Figuarts are two different lines that go for two entirely different things, I'd say. I prefer SHF for show accuracy, but even then, they're aiming at different intents.
