Abrella is a great character because he spends half the series behind the scenes, and isn't there just for the sake of "conquest". I'd take him over most Sentai villains any day.

And that is why I did not like Deka as much. I need a central villain. The only thing for me that saved his character was his voice actor.

I felt there was a lot of potential Deka missed out on.

BTW, SPD was inferior because of 70s reject Disco Skeletor.

I agree. She is one of the worst pink rangers I have ever seen. And what was up with filming her taking a bath? It served no purpose to the plot.
