No one has ever given me an actual counter argument concerning Decade (And if they have, it was far too weak to hold up), so I've never been able to see the series in an alternate light.
It's a bigger waste to just turn a blind eye to alternating opinions just because you like or dislike something. No one grows or learns doing that, and everyone loses because of it.
Like I said, I read your Decade thread. Unless you've got some big 'reason Decade sucks' bomb that you never dropped there, I know for a fact that your arguments on the matter have not changed my mind. And as for my arguments changing your mind, you saw Tsukasa almost die to save Shouichi, give up some of his life force to save Natsumi, and a bunch of similar incidents and the declared that he had never done anything good of his own volition. I'm sure you can come up with rationalizations that turn those into selfish acts, but I saw a guy who may not have been a natural hero, but was trying anyways.
Tsukasa was told in the first episode that he was supposed to be killing all the AU riders, but instead chose to try and solve their problems while trying to find a non-murderous solution. That sounds pretty heroic to me.
