I'm voting no. Who says Jordan is going to be the Silver Ranger? I say he gets to finally become a Ranger and he could heroically end up sacrificing that power to help one of the current main 5. And also to help explain why Jake is driving a Green Zord next year.
(Hint: Jordan gets to be Megaforce Green, but Jake's Morpher gets destroyed or something and Jordan gives his Morpher to Jake, since he feels the most heroic, Ranger-ly thing to do is to give up his Powers to help another continue the fight)

US!Gokai Silver is the son of Billy and that Aquitian girl he fell in love with at the end of Zeo. Billy built his son a Morpher and Zord so he could one day become a Power Ranger. Gosei calls Billy and Billy sends his son (who is more than happy to be just like Dad) to earth in his Zord's spaceship mode to fight with his Silver Trident, LegacyKey Morpher and his HexagonKey Megazord.

But Saban would NEVER do something THAT awesome.
