When I first played Revelations, I wasn't a fan. It felt very busy. Very forced. The fact that you you play four different people in one game is a bit a unnerving at first but the story explains it pretty well. I also wasn't a fan of the bombs. As a guy who primarily did a lot of stabbing and swordplay, I thought the bombs were cheap, until I got to try them all out and some are very, very fun. Of course, there's a reason why AC sticks to the smoke bomb dynamic before and after, as they're the best, but some of the others are just plain funny. Skunk bombs come to mind.

I still consider it the bastard child of the Assassin's Creed series though, but it's grown on me like a red-headed stepchild. Den Defense was Ubisoft's worst idea to date, so much so that I actually made sure to lock down all the Towers except one and let that one continously get attacked three times to meet the Assassin Guild requirement. And, as much as I hate to say it, it frustrates me so much I use a Trainer (Cheat Device) to make sure I win. I hardly ever cheat in games, especially Assassin's Creed, but Den Defense does not belong in these games.

It's not actually confusing. It's just a little more ridiculous than I was expecting. I knew an alternate timeline would be... different, but I wasn't expecting spirit animals and weird powers.. As fun as the cloak is.

But I finished Episode 1 already, and damn was it short! That's the most disappointing thing about it. If it had been released all at once or even if the episodes were just longer... maybe I'd be more into it.

So I started playing Skyrim again now.

I knew what was coming, but I didn't expect it in it's current capacity. Even with the health drain, it's still not fair. But as I run and "gun" so to speak, I use double running assassinations, and before the soldiers back's hit the ground, I go invisible again, making it feel very much like The Predator, which is awesome in my book.

Yeah, it was short. But I feel so far it's done well. I'm just glad I didn't pay for it!
