I still consider it the bastard child of the Assassin's Creed series though, but it's grown on me like a red-headed stepchild. Den Defense was Ubisoft's worst idea to date, so much so that I actually made sure to lock down all the Towers except one and let that one continously get attacked three times to meet the Assassin Guild requirement. And, as much as I hate to say it, it frustrates me so much I use a Trainer (Cheat Device) to make sure I win. I hardly ever cheat in games, especially Assassin's Creed, but Den Defense does not belong in these games.

It's hard to explain, but something about Revelations just feels... off. I like the gameplay just as much (even if I almost never touch the bombs and have avoided Den Defense like the plague since the tutorial - oh and the Desmond puzzles, fuck those), I like the setting, I like the new characters, and I love the Altair segments (and wish they were longer). But for some reason it's just not clicking.
