To give them credit, this was the first series with animal designed mecha, so they were testing out new stuff.

So far I like Daigo best. He's the only ranger that seems to give a damn (as seen in episode 3). I keep asking why Shouji is a ranger. Red, Yellow, and Rin are all kind of bland for me so far(I can't even remember two of their names at the moment), though Red has some decent plot in 7&8.

Overall, I'm liking it. Side note, I'd buy Dairanger SHFs. Maybe not all of them, but I like their designs and weapons enough that I think they would make for good toys.

Don't worry, Rin's subplot starts in episode 17, Shouji's will be I believe 15, Ryo's I believe is 25, and Kazu's is I want to say 28.

You just past two of my favorite episodes though. Father Magnet and the drunken tofu.
