Well, since we got confirmation of HK Gokaiger toys today, it struck me that there are some really loud, obnoxious sounds in the toys we spend a lot of money on. With the actual gimmick effects it seems like a trend that Kamen Rider W started, and it hasn't quite stopped. But it also extends further than that if you think about it; toys have been making sound effects for years now, and some of those sounds are being recycled to this day.

But that strikes an interesting question. What would you say the most annoying sound effect that a toku roleplay toy makes is?

My personal response would be the sound that the Fourze Driver makes if you put a generic switch into it (like the Gashapon Cosmic Switch). There's a very nails-on-the-chalkboard feel to it, and it's so unsatisfying and bland, I can't help but absolutely hate it.
