I don't see what was wrong with it. The only movie that wasn't predictable down to a T was Core, and that wasn't very good to begin with. Gentaro wasn't a crybaby (He was utterly distraught that he attacked a completely sentient and innocent being. His reaction wasn't out of character in the slightest).

In general, I don't see what made the movie subpar, having better action than most KR movies of recent times (In my opinion), a cohesive story and narrative, and a nice atmosphere overall.

You're free to dislike it, I'd just like a little more elaboration to see where you're coming from, is all.
