Because TV-N is down and I can't get more Dairanger at the moment, I tried out Liveman. Watched the first 2 episodes so far and it's...something... It goes straight into the epic stuff like I'm already suppose to care what's going on and give a damn who these people are.

Heck, there's two "major" deaths in the first episode, but those characters got less than a minute before dying. Reminds me of Transformers Prime (that's not a complement). 2nd episode fairs better in letting a character shine before they died, but still.

I also don't even know anyone's name. I don't know if they were even mentioned. The theme is great, but it feels rushed into. I'm going to give it a few more episodes. Sometimes it just takes a little bit for the show to click.

Live Robo is pretty cool and I like Land Lion, that's for sure.



PS (might be 2nd episode spoiler) How did that pregnant women in episode 2 delivery her own baby, cut the umbilical cord, clean the baby, escape from under that rubble safe and sound, AND teleport from the rubble to the lighthouse (That last one is bad editing). All while the Rangers are fighting a short mecha battle to. I think she should be a ranger. She clearly has beyond the physical abilities to be one.
