Btw theres another toy line made by Takara in a similar vain at the time but with smaller toys callled Kikou Keisatsu (Armoured Police) Metal Jack with humanoid figures that combine with vehicles/animals/robots to become robots.

Note how Red Jack Armour's face looks kinda like Gridman's. Especially in the box art.

Yeah those joints on the Yoroiden figures were weird! I mean looking back now, I can see how Takara thought that hyping the Jiujutsu aspect of the figures(being samurai after all) would be cool but I think in the end all it did was hinder the articulation! That area is where the Armor Plus line eclipses the original line completely. Even now I would not mind a non-armor removable SH Figuarts line of Yoroiden Troopers! Sad thing is, Yoroiden may not be as popular in Japan. Maybe it's like Voltron where the localized series is actually more popular than the original Japanese release? It's rare but that does happen at times.

Metal Jack is awesome! Are the base figures fully articulated or just the combined robot modes? The guy on left looks like Roadbuster from Transformers.

BTW for the big Syber Squad figures, did Servo have grey weapons on a tree or blue? If so, I know of a place that sells some repaints MISB(like Amp and a few other guys) for $50-60+. Are those good prices?
