No roll-call or big and flashy debut transformation which was weird. I think they might save that for Mission 2 though; I heard a lot of narrative dialog in this episode which I assume was just explaining the concept of everything.

The mecha fight stole the show for me. I've watched bits and pieces of a whole lot of Sentai shows, and this is by far THE best mecha fight I've ever seen. I really hope it continues.

Yeah the mech fight had a cross of Sentai and Gundam, I hope they keep filming the giant battles outdoors as oppose to the studio, it looks more believable that way. But I do hope they do the traditional "Hero Introductions" in the future, I always love the poses and explosions lol! - Watched the RAW 3 times already, love it lol!

It's Power Rangers 20th Anniversary so you can say it's kind of a small homage. Just like with Go-Onger, the design of their suits was based off Liveman due to that series' anniversary. I dig it, feels like a "clean version" of Power Rangers RPM. I can see PR linking this series to RPM although I hope they do something different.
