A few years ago when I got into Sentai, I listened to a lot of the music heavily and well the conclusion I've reached is that it's a mixed bag.

It could be because Ultraman and Kamen Rider are more my forte as the years of seeing good and bad series as well as pieces of all the series with a Power Rangers counterpart have kinda worn me down. In fact, the opening theme for Kyoryuger is pretty bad in that the singer is off key half the time. Another thing that kinda bothers me is that some of the theme songs for the sixth rangers are pretty lame considering they often are much stronger than the core team. I'm so bored of it in that I have deleted my entire collection of songs but the Kamen Rider and now Ultraman Retsuden openings. Unlike with anime and films in Japan, they must not try too hard with music over there.
