To be honest I'm really picky about what I look for in subs. For example, I hate seeing honorifics in subtitles but at the same time some sub groups will swap out Japanese references and puns for American ones which I find equally as annoying. While I want to understand something in the best level of English I can I don't really want to have the entire joke localised.

Still, I'm grateful that there's such a variety of subs available to cater to everyone rather than being stuck with just one kind
