Hey guys, here's a special side story to the main ModRanger FanFic, each revealing the lives of our heroes before they joined up together! And here's the first!

Data File 01- Violet

For a moment a white screen would replace the blue screen. VI1Z’s face could be seen briefly on the monitor he lets out an angry growl, then a bright blinding light floods the room. The man covers his eyes and lets out a loud scream…

The young man woke with a jolt. He opened his eyes and marveled at what surrounded him. Instead of his room, he saw something that looked like it came right out of Tron. “Whoa… this is the weirdest dream I’ve ever had.” He got up and brushed his clothes off, before walking towards a light that caught his attention. It glowed green, and read the one word that he had always seen everyday- TOKUNATION. “Yup, definitely a dream.” “This isn’t a dream, I’m afraid.” The young man turned around and was surprised at what he saw. Standing about a foot from him was a humanoid mass of data, in the form of a girl about his age. She glowed with a pink field of energy, as she slowly walked towards him. “Hello, you must be the owner of this laptop,” she said while holding her hand out. The young man shook it and continued to look at her in awe. “Are you okay?” she asked as he continued to stare. She wove her hand in front of him before delivering a quick slap to his face. “OW!...wait…that hurt…so I’m not dreaming?!?!” “I’m afraid not, Reggie.” “How do you know my name?” “Uh, you’re the registered user here, duh. I know everything about you, your personal information, your bank accounts, your interests…and let me just say, keep some of those off here, I don’t want a virus attack.” “Wh-wha-what, no I sometimes let my friends use my laptop!” “Right, then why do you keep searching Yui Koike, Ahim De Famille, Gokai Pink…” “Lalalala, I can’t hear you! Lalalalala!” Reggie said while covering his ears and closing his eyes. Suddenly, he felt himself being lifted off the ground and opened his eyes to see him zooming past various circuit boards and website banners. “Whoa whoa whoa!!! What’s going on?!” “I’m gonna show you what the Internet really is like,” the girl said with a smile. “Can you put me down…uh, what do I call you?” The girl took one of the hands she was using to lift Reggie and dropped him before scratching her head in thought. “You know, I never had a true name before. Most people just call me Artificial Intelligence.” “How about ‘Ai’ then?” Reggie said groaning on the floor. “I like that!” Ai exclaimed as she picked up Reggie again. She leapt and flew again, and zoomed past other website banners. Reggie saw that each one was of one he had opened on his computer before the incident. As they passed by his email tab, Reggie looked up at Ai. Something about her just seemed fascinating to Reggie. As soon as she stopped and let him down gently, Reggie faced Ai. "Hey...if you're data, why can I touch you?" "Well...when you saw that flash of light, you were downloaded into the Internet, so you're data now too." Reggie looked at his hands and saw that they in fact had the same type of field of energy that Ai had, albeit violet. "I believe a suitable joke in this situation is: 'In Soviet Russia, Internet Downloads You!' Did that make you laugh?" Ai turned to see Reggie on his hands and knees, looking depressed. She looked at him and placed her hand on his head. She petted his head and lifted it up so he was looking into her eyes. "It'll be alright, okay? After I show you around here, I will let you out of here," Ai said with a smile on her face. "Alright, yeah, okay," Reggie said, looking away while blushing.

The two of them zoomed back and forth between the different websites, visiting his favorite places. They went on Tokunation and looked at new articles, they went on Facebook and sent friend requests to people Reggie knew, they went on shopping websites to help find some new stuff for Reggie. Eventually, the two of them stopped by a mass multiplayer online game, right at the character construction page. "Would you like to play?" "Sure!" Reggie walked up to the character creator and saw something unsettling; a pile of broken parts, from discarded character designs. "Hold up Ai." Reggie reached down and grabbed bit by bit, creating a figure with multiple faces and four arms. "Are you gonna use him?" "Yeah, now what should we call him?" "I've compiled a list of names that might be suitable to the internet!" Reggie looked on the list and selected two words from it. "Alright, let's go!"

The two of them looked on as Reggie's character entered the Arena. The announcer floated up, and announced: "In This Corner, We Have, A Newcomer, AGRO LEET!!!!" Reggie controlled Agro with perfect tempo, allowing him to knock out each of his opponents one by one. Ai looked at him and noticed the intensity in his eyes, smiling when he turned to look at her. Eventually, the character managed to beat the final opponent, and took the prize with him. As he and Ai left with Agro Leet, the three of them went to a screen saver of a sunset. Agro stood near a tree as Reggie and Ai laid down in the grass. "Great moves back there." "Thanks, I-" "Play a lot of video games, I know," Ai said with a smile. She got up and walked towards Agro, spinning his head around until it got to his smiling face. "Thanks for showing me what this place was like. We did everything that I like!" "Of course, I know what you like, remember? You could say I'm your perfect girl," Ai said as she smiled and walked towards Reggie. She tripped on a tree root, but Reggie caught her. She looked up at him, and he at her, as they slowly brought their faces closer together...

ERROR!!! ERROR!!! ERROR!!!

"What?!" "What's going on?!" Reggie and Ai turned to see that the internet became cloudy and dark, with circuitry surrounding and corrupting everything they had passed by. “DEStroy..." The same face that Reggie had seen earlier was coming towards their way, making its way to Agro Leet. It surrounded the character, and when it dispersed, Agro Leet was more aggressive looking and acted deranged. "Come on, this way!" Ai yelled, grabbing his hand. As they ran, Reggie looked back and saw everything collapse and fall apart, with Agro and the face coming closer and closer. As they were just about to be caught, Reggie felt Ai swing him forward, throwing him far from her. "Ai! What are you doing?!" The face opened its mouth, and from it leapt a deranged looking girl- her hair consisting of red wires, her skin metallic, her body covered with purple wires that let energy flow through her. "HaX... CorRuPt..." the face announced. Hax did as her Master told and stuck her tentacle's claw in Ai's back. "Ai!!!" Ai's body started to gain circuitry lines as well, as she reached out a hand to Reggie. Behind him, a white portal opened up. Ai slowly and painfully walked towards Reggie. "Ai..." "You have to go..." "I can't just leave you here!" "Go...please...I'll delete your memory of what happened here...please...live a normal life..."
"But..." "Please...live for me..." Ai said as she pushed Reggie through the portal, with the virus surrounding her completely. "NO!!!"

Reggie lets out a groan, another yawn and he was out of bed. He rubs the sleep out of his eyes and looks towards his computer monitor, which displayed a pretty awesome screen saver of the Gokaigers changing into Kamen Rider OOOs scene from Super Hero Taisen. Reggie eyes his monitor suspiciously for a moment, and for a brief second he saw image of his monitor, flashing a bright light in his mind. He shook his head back and fourth. “Must still be dreaming” He says with a yawn finally deciding to get up.

As Reggie left his room, a window opened on his laptop. From it, something stared at him leaving, putting its hand on his screen, attempting to reach out to him. It wiped the tears from its eyes and closed the window, before walking towards Viralnidas...
