So, I got the complete series set of TOS (is that trademarked?) for Christmas last year, and I've been taking small bits of Ultraman when I've got the time and am in the mood for a quick burst of Showa kaiju action.

Definitely really like the suits, the vehicles, and most of the human cast. Choreography doesn't seem to take full advantage of the fact that the hero is humanoid, at least at the point I'm at now (just watched episode 3 today). The building miniatures vary in quality, but that's to be expected from a TV budget. Overall, a fun show. Really looking forward to watching more, seeing how the series evolves over time.

Also, Hoshino is an idiot. They should strap that kid to a chair at Science Patrol HQ and be done with it.
