Fury Diamond, who has sources that are pretty high up in the world of Power Rangers, stated that the reason Super Megaforce was being re-written (remember his post about the story bible being changed and adapted for the second half?) is because they re-wrote all the stories that the Megaforce writers had written.

Fury has been right about everything thus far ... even the Silver Ranger being Cameron Jebo, which everyone called false when Cameron denied it only to end up seeing him on set with the other Rangers.
