That still provides no more fuel to your cause that Power Rangers fans should acknowledge Sentai, if anything you've only further proven that you don't need to know anything beyond the fact that the fights are from some Japanese TV show because even when Power Rangers adopts the same theme, it still does it in its own way.

I was debating against something specific that you said because that specific thing was incorrect.

I just think its ignorant to ignore where something you enjoy is coming from, just my opinion. I think that the original footage deserves to be acknowledged because without it, our Power Rangers wouldn't exist, at all. It annoys me when people pretend that Power Rangers isn't derived from something else, just something that irks me, or ignore that the footage is often not made just for PR. You don't watch Avengers and not know its derived from the comic books, for example, because even if you like the films and not the comics, it should be acknowledged where its roots lie. As I said before, I don't think PR fans need watch Sentai, I only started watching Sentai after I was done with all the PR seasons, but things like the events I mentioned before are what annoys me, that's all I was saying.
