Besides, every now and then it'll suprise you. I remember thinking the bird/bug/tank/spider thing from W/Decade looked a hell of a lot better than, say, the garbage T-rex from the first episode.

Also Den-O's henshin never looked all that bad to me. Sometimes the visors were pretty glaring but they did a good job of making it not look totally out of place, even if it wasn't "convincing." Though I agree they could use less. Especially when you have scenes like in the early Den-O and W eps where the enemies turn into giant monsters and they have REALLy weird CG fights. Glad that concept didn't stick around in either, especially W. (then again we had the odd time of Accel turning into Bike mode and focusing on every polygon before his little weird tank guy showed up, but what can you do?) Wizard, from what I can tell, also loves big CGI things onc ein a while.

Outside of the T-Rex dopant (And the Quetzacoatl Dopant, like, 20 episodes later), I really don't recall any giant monster fights in Double.

In my opinion, the Tomica Hero series has the most consistently good CG in any episodic Tokusatsu.
