I had forgotten about that. As a kid Zedd was a bit scary with the whole no skin look. My dad wanted me to stop watching when he came on because he looked "like a demon". Never really stopped me.

The show is violent by kid standards these days but most of the hardest hits some in costume and blood or injuries aren't shown in any extreme way. It's always "destroy them" or "put and end to them" or something instead of "kill them".
