Ch.4 - Nasty Fiends, and terrible things.


Gearz dashed between each monster to defend the fallen Ares. A long metal staff appeared out of a portal created by a floating gear that seemed to follow the bronze hero. With every blow to The Royal, a rainbow of sparks ignited causing them to step back.

"Y'know. At any time, you can go back to your world. I can handle this Rider."

He spun behind him to knock another Royal away. However, they became surrounded each face that was not quite a face, but still hungry. Watching from dead open eyes, they surrounded the two riders, with the original group of five in front.

The first, would be Lady Seven. She was the Princess of the Royal Beast. She had sharp edges that contorted to her form, the visage of a rose blushed mask sat on her face, hiding the monster that was inside. Her helmet however was not as soft as it's face. Spikes protruded from all over, and with every gap between each spike, raven hair flooded the crevices which hung down to her lower back. The rest of her body kept a similar motive. Unlike her helmet though, she brandished a faint pink overtone, with Hot Pink Mid tones, and at her chest, brandished a Black mask similar to her Helmets. But, this one had eyes. It watched. It ate. It lived....

"Did you think a low level M3chanix like yourself had any chance at surviving our feast?"

A larger Royal jeered out at the two riders. He was not as nice to look at. He dawned powerful Red and Golds from head to toe, which shined like finely tuned chrome. He held two oversize blades, one a Katana, the other a Halbred which instead of Red and Gold, his blades contrasted with his body kissing the colors with Silver and Blue. His helmet brandished a Cracked mask with the face of untold sorrow. He was the knight. Lord Ten.

"Well the thing is. I came here thinking i'd save a few lives. Kill a few of you lot, and then have some Sake. But, it's seeming like a few half twit-failures such as yourselves have learned to hunt in packs. Congrats."

"SILENCE FOOL!!!" rang out the black monster.

His name was Jack. He was Third in Command of the Royals. If you saw him in front of you? One could only assume they had met with the grim reaper. His mask parodied a human skull as it was torn apart, and cracked in the appropriate places. He was a jet black, which shined brightly. Accenting his lines was a purple glow that pulsed like a heartbeat. The one thing that did change between purple and black however, was his chest which watched with a red mask that smiled to those who watch.

"Son, you must not show you anger. It is not becoming of you, or any of us. Especially in front of Company." chucked out the she-bitch

Certainly tallest of the bunch, The queen leered down at the two riders, having to be about seven feet high. her ruffles would hide the fact that, despite being so big, she was wearing stilettos that gave his this height. But her dress would hide many things. Her face for instance? It was a green jade that only poked out from the cleavage provided by the dress. However, it was different then the others. It expressed no emotion, only trailed along her body the face itself being porcelain, the rest a jade vein which created a spine down her back which was left unguarded. A weak spot one might say. Her helmet however brandished no mask. Only a blank angular slate, that pointed down. Her crown however, was majestic just as posh as the rest of her appearance. It was red and gold like her knight with various silver trims to expand her elegance. She held a scepter which was studded in a crystalline jewelry. It was part one of two of something that no living being should be in possession of...

Finally of this group stood the second tallest. The servant. He was no lord. No warrior. Only a monster and a voyeur, the kind of creatures that not even purgatory could seal inside. He was The Keeper. At first glance, this was a very tall, but ordinary business man. He had a long bushy pony-tail, crescent glasses, and an ordinary grey suit. On paper he was normal. He could possibly be a music producer, or a teacher. He could even be doing taxes for a company. But, on the inside... He was far worse then the initial Seven, Ten and Jack. Partly for what he has witness, what power he has bestowed on his victims. What mindless torture the riders endure against each other, or the twist of fate that leads the riders on a conquest of victory, to a new circle of hell filled to the brim with hungry Royal Breeds. But, if he needed to fight. He knew quite well. He was indeed the oldest of all of them. His straight posture showed this. His non-stop focus. His eyes where dead set on Gearz...

"You." his white gloved finger raised to point at the rider.

"Eh?" He backed up a few paces allowing his staff to slide down closer to the ground.

"You are not one of them. Why do you fight? You are not a human, nor are you a rider... You are... a M3chanix... This is not your fight. What does one of these disgusting apes mean to you?" He took a few paces forward passing through Ten, and Jack.

Gearz knew this would be trouble. But... what else could he do? His family's kingdom was at risk. Though being nothing but a M3chanix. He knew what he had to do. He had to save humanity. He had to stop the Royals. He had to win.

"Hey. Damonjii. What did the caterpillar say to the butterfly? " Gears stood up ready.

"What?" Exclaimed Ten.

"Gotta run!" He laughed at his own joke using his staff to open up a portal.

"If you run little one. We will find you..." Queen retorted to his quip.

"If you find us in the world of the humans. I feel bad for you. There are tons of humans that Kentaro has turned into Riders. If you chase me there, you are signing your own warrant." He and Ares slipped into the void. "Adios mustachios."

Gone.

"Mother, did you really have to let him get away?" Whined Jack.

"Yes. We did. If they think they are strong, they are strong. If they think they are heroes, more will want to follow as heroes. Our Keeper will ensure that people will want to fight forever. Wont you, my pet?" she gestured to The Keeper.

"I have no choice. You and your lesser half both wield the power of of the Infinity void. Even if I tried to resist, my existence would be nothing compared to this force... " He paused. " Myself, and the corporation I represent, will still ensure there will be food for you all. However, do keep in mind that creating such a resource is... expensive."

" I am quite well aware of this need, Keeper. I will pay your wages, as I do every time. " she looked down at The keeper. If only she could show her fury, however not even her voice carried emotion.

She held her wand high over The Keeper. Who's eyes began to glow. Red. Green. Yellow. Purple. Black. He was The Keeper. Something more powerful then any could hope to imagine. No one could stop him, not even thieves that stole an artifact the entails limitless power. He would find his way to this philosopher's stone. Crush the Pandora's Box that the Royal where trapped in. For their apocalypse was on the horizon. The Keeper will rise.
