Are you talking about Akiko and those two misfits as detectives? W does have alot of wacky and colorful characters, but that's part of its charm. Just wait until Terui's arrival as Kamen Rider Accel, and the series will feel alot faster. As for the movies, like Ryan said definitely check out Begins Night, since it reveals a bit more about Skull. Once you're almost done with the series, go watch A to Z and later Eternal; these two movies are fantastic, and of course the one starring Accel as well.
