Both are great but Bridge just brings more to the table, regardless if he became red or not. A trained officer vs. a bumbling guy off the street that can't even swing his own signature weapon without nearly falling over isn't much of a fight.

Bridge also brings some mechanical know how and out of the box methods of problem solving.

Also: If Bridge joins the team, he'll have another chance at becoming best friends with himself as a child. Theoretically, young Bridge would be about 9 right now.
