No. Sorry, but no. While yes the rest is up to opinion, you cannot seriously say the new Batmobile is better than the old. It looks lazily designed, has less parts, is smaller, and the set overall is just a watered-down version of the original hiding behind the excuse of being more "cartoony." There's nothing the new set does better than the old. It's not even as fun because it lacks the awesome rubber-thing launcher of the original.

And that's not even mentioning sets like "The Bat." There's seriously no excuse for such a poorly made sets. Megabloks has inarguably been improving nearly constantly with it's Halo line as well as it's lesser known lines, (hell, compare the current Warthog to the original and it's like they're two differnet toylines) while Lego has not. And that's not opinion, that's looking at the sets and seeing the cold hard facts of less parts, flimsier and less accurate builds and less colour cohesion.
