So did they not do the Kagemusha plot in Samurai?

Well, I watched OhRanger episodes 13-24 and my god this show is not horrible, but the ranger cast is just so uninteresting and mediocre. There is nothing to like about ANY of them, even in their own episodes. Sure, there are series where maybe only half of the rangers have any development, but even OhRed has not had anything to develop his character outside of gaining RedPuncher, but that doesn't tell me anything about him. This show feels a lot different than what I thought it was when I first watched it 9 years ago, and I'm not sure if it is because I have seen a lot more Sentai series since then or what.
