Ragon was the first monster from Ultra Q to show up in Ultraman. In fact, the Ultraman episode specifically references the Ultra Q episode, which is pretty neat.

I loved episode three, to the point where after watching it I immediately went and ordered the Spark Doll of King Pandon. The soulless voice of the gal who was Dark Lived into Pandon was super creepy.

I do not know what the significance of it being Taro other than the servant of the Dark Master is one of Taro's enemies, and Taro himself is pretty popular, but still suitable for the sillier bits... I can't see Ultraseven doing the blushing routine from this episode, for instance.

So loving this show...
